Excellent, best file explorer I’ve found so far. Two panes for easily copying and moving the files across directories. The search function that uses wildcards is simply amazing. Also, the “open with” function is fantastic. It comes with a basic built-in file viewer features. It allows thumbnails for media files as well as icons of the accompanying application for different file types. It also has a great sort function. The explorer is compatible with the most widely used online storage solutions, including FTP SMB, ext sdcard OTG USB-storage, and many more.

Amazing! The interface has been specifically made to work on mobile devices and extremely user-friendly. It’s the only apps that has access to the writable folders and files in the “Android/data” folder without root following an Android 11 upgrade. It even has access to the root folder however it requires access to root to explore the folder fully. I’ll make a donation to the developers whenever I can. The only issue I have encountered is that uploading files into Google Drive through the app does not work.

The rating has dropped from five stars to three in the past year or more. It is a complete disaster for cloud to cloud or cloud-to-cloud management of files. There are a lot of “unexpected end”, http error messages and other odd errors and errors, none of which is never encountered on Solid Explorer, or Fx. I’ve always enjoyed the application however, it’s been unable to function properly, and the developers aren’t responsive.

The process took me few times before I got used to it, but when I had, I deleted all other apps for file storage. It’s a revolutionary user interface that is mobile-friendly and powerful. I would have read the user manual and as it becomes more user-friendly, I’m amazed by the constant discovering of new features. I haven’t reviewed other reviews and this one is the shining star of its Playstore category.

I am in love with the app. Although most don’t believe this, I personally enjoy the retro look. My subscription initially did not appear on any of my other devices. If this happens, take a moment reboot the device, install the update if it’s available and it should display your contribution. The only thing that this app does not include can be used to secure files, although I’m not sure it’s something that many people will ever need. Personally, I’d love to see that feature added. In addition this is everything you’ll require.

I’ve used a few different file management softwares, however this one is the only one that truly does what I require. I was squeezing past the Google drive limit of 15GB and didn’t want the hassle of going through hundreds of photos to determine which ones I should delete. With the side-by-side view this app application let me easily look at both the contents of my tablet and my G drive’s which made it easy to move my pictures off of the cloud and onto my tablet’s SD card. Voila! A plethora of absolutely free Google drive space!

I am awestruck by the file management tool! I’ve tried a variety of applications in the hopes of replace my favorite ES File Explorer. Each of them always had something lacking and the user interface is unwieldy or the ads were excessive. It’s (dare to say that?) superior to ES File Explorer!?! The interface is fantastically superior! I’m lost for words to express my joy over this application!

It’s an excellent network explorer. I’ve have made a donation. When I play these videos on my NAS with X-plore’s own video player, all subtitle files that are in this same file will play together. This is not the case with other video players that are standalone. It would be even be better if the feature of control over playback speed is integrated into the player’s own video player.

It’s been a favorite application for a while since. At present, I have it installed as well as on the main home page of four different phones I use. It’s really disappointing that to get basic features like this , you must make use of a third party application. It’s so comprehensive that I’ve barely even scratched the surface of the capabilities it has, but it’s been reliable all the time. I’ve tried 12 other software for managing files, but none compares to this one.

Excellent. There are ideosynchracies to be found, but once you’ve mastered it, it lets you easily transfer or copy documents. It is not necessary to select on one screenand then disappear from the screen whenever you copy a file elsewhere.

This is the top and fastest option. There are no advertisements. You can edit and create text files and also set up an FTP server as well. Cutting, copying and pasting is simple. The built-in viewers are easy and excellent. A lot superior to my standard file manager.

There are a few Android TV issues: Switch panels do not switch left and right panels anymore. It just shifts the highlights. Additionally, each time you click on a specific icon in the central columns (like bookmarks) the distance between them grows until the they are pushed to the bottom of view.

If you’re feeling confused by the user interface of this application Don’t give up using it. Just read the manual and it won’t let you down. This Android file manager is the best of every other one. I was an enthusiastic ES File Explorer fan, however X-plore is more efficient and better. Make a donation to the developer and help keep it going!

I’ve used X-plore for quite a long time and it’s done every thing I’ve required to accomplish. I especially like that it integrates with Google Drive and has a built in wifi file server so you can easily upload and download files between your phone and any other computers/tablets/phones/etc that are connected to the same wifi.

I ran into a problem. When I try to zip a large file using a password, the file will fail to load. My file was 491 MB. Results was 22b. It’s a bit confusing initially, but once you’ve having mastered all the functions, it’s enjoyable to use. It’s a great tool for backing up media files to an SD card. Batch renames are great when it comes to media files. There are many awesome features. Apart from one thing, it’s a fantastic application.

I’ve always loved this application it was released. Android prevented you from being capable of accessing all files remotely. However, I’ve been experiencing issues when trying to transfer and copy files to various folders for data recently, and I’m not able to determine the root of the issue.

Best file managing solution I’ve ever come across for mobile devices. The fact that it comes with support for other protocols such as SMB, sshfs, as well as other services such as dropbox and google drive have taken this app far beyond my expectations. This “two page” UI is built to allow for manipulation of files and the built-in support for various formats of files is remarkable! Keep up the excellent work!

The most efficient file explorer on the market ! But, there is no option to find zip files with *.tmp and remove the files found with the X-plore program. My zip contains thousands of jpgs as well as thousands of TMP files hidden in sub-folders, and it is obvious that trying to find them manually can be time-consuming. In theory , I could unzip , delete the tmp files and restore it, however this could take several hours in order to finish … like I have discovered. Could you let search/delete work directly inside zip files?

Excellent old experience on Symbian and JAR mobile phones with working ftp client.. I’ve tried several FTP clients but they all failed to function and I finally discovered this one and it worked as expected. One suggestion: alter the UI look so that it is easy to comprehend.

In reality, I’m more of an Ower-user. Ive utilized (and purchased) all of the major-name file management software. I’ve had several preferences at different times, until I came across this unknown gem five years ago. I’m not thinking of changing my mind. It’s very intuitive to use -band, and it’s as strong (if not more) than any other program available. If you’re looking for an effective file management tool, you’re at the right place.
