Update: I’ve recently experienced difficulty signing a PDF.

The freehand approach is quite hard to gain a feeling of size while in the process.

I was obliged to utilize an unsightly scribbling on a document to a person I was attempting to impress.

An option for conventional text input w/ a choice of fonts would make a 6 of 5 stars rating from me 🙂

Xodo has met and above my expectations.

The software has even taught me a few things about the uses of a decent PDF program.

Amazing app.

Highly suggest this one.

The app is absolutely solid.

It opens every distinct file type I’ve tested.

It’s incredibly easy to use.

I haven’t seen many applications as nice as this one.

For opening many various visual and textual files, xodo is the one for me!

It enables you copy/paste, type on pdf and save it as new file, handwrite on pdf, edit pdf.

And the free version accomplishes everything I’ve ever dreamt of doing with pdf files.

It’s even available for Windows!

So far this has been the finest software for handwriting in pdf files on Android.

The nicest feature for me is that you can immediately access your google drive and onedrive so all your changes are preserved and available from any device.

Other useful features include cutomizable pen colors and the option to add and delete pages.

I have encountered a couple troubles though.

Sometimes my work does not save, especially back to onedrive.

The windows version delays while handwriting and looks stuck a lot.

This software works pretty nicely.

Began using it to take notes in my biology class (Spring ’22).

I was able to take notes and stay up with the lecture, it served me extremely well.

As a guitarist/singer I continue to use it to keep track of the chord sheets.

I enjoy how I can link a bluetooth controller and use it to flip pages while my hands are busy.

ive even looked at other applications to replace it, but I havent found one that is basic enough yet versitle to match my needs.

thank you for an excellent app.

I’ve been using Xodo (standard version) for over 4 years now and it’s due for an upgrade.

It’s considerably better than the widely recognized competition.

I don’t get regular updates, I don’t get nagged to form an account, it doesn’t consume vast amounts of data, it simply works.

That’s what I desire.

And after 4 years; I prefer to have user instructions on my phone and I’ve now learned that Xodo can simply eliminate the sixteen languages that I don’t understand and thus make the manuals simpler to read.

Amazing.

2022/08 – the current version is considerably less efficient than the previous 5.0.22 version!

E.g.

Instead of a bottom, horizontal scroll bar that one can use easily with one thumb, Xodo now employs a terribly inefficient vertical scrollbar that nobody can use with one hand and one thumb without fumbling the phone!

Horrible – just don’t update!!

Used to be the quickest, most efficient, most competent pdf reader, but it’s gotten less efficient therefore minus a star.

Definitely the finest software for Students!

It is so strong but so easy to use and virtually everything you need is free!

You may add notes in so many helpful and vivid and diverse ways .

You can add extra pages anywhere you like to add your comments on any aspect of the text.

You may modify the colour of a page by adding a layer of transparent colour and flatten the layer.

So much to explore in this app for any dedicated students that love aesthetic too!

This is the only Android app I could discover that offers both annotation and read aloud functions which are critical tools for me.

Would want see read aloud to be available without having to highlighting the text, and to be able to start at different positions.

UPDATE Sept 2022:

App has been flaky – won’t highlight more than one thing at a time unless I exit out and start it up again; also frequently says my files “no longer exist” and lose my current adjustments when I reopen from the source.

I am impressed after trying this app.

When I acquired a tablet ( for my studies where I had to read a lot of PDFs and annotate them) I was not content with Adobe Acrobat or the PDF editor of the Onedrive ( for laptop I use edge browser) ( for laptop I use edge browser).

I googled & someone had recommended this.

Personally what I find fantastic is- 1. The icons are convenient.

2. Can choose any marking and alter the hue also, from line to highlight, and vice versa

3. 2 finger scrolling can override the marking feature & assist you to scroll PDF.

I wish I downloaded this previously.

I tried numerous pdf reader programs, but there are always some things lacking that I desired.

But, This is one of the greatest pdf reader like no other.

It contains all the qualities that are quite remarkable to me.

It blows my head by seeing all these things they are delivering even on the free plan.

Some of the excellent features of this software that I enjoyed so much are: Tab support, quick page render, night mode with custom color, extremely nice file browser, consistent UI, Annotate, etc

I firmly will name this rather a top PDF Editor software I have finded out.

Used it for 3 years now and its services with also being pdf reader helped me a lot.

The reason this program is one of the greatest *pdf reader* is its intensity changing color modes.

I will rather like a theme based approach which will make various section of text similar and altering theme including editing color for header & subheadings etc

After all, it has huge potential for becoming greatest in everything.
