No, it’s not even close to that.
I tested this on both my Chromebook and my phone and it worked both times.
To make matters worse, I couldn’t even scroll down my docx document, which looked more like something out of a mobile note.
A pdf document was not shown.
I didn’t give it a second thought, but I’m still bummed out.
Since Microsoft chose to remove Word from the Chromebook app store, I’ve been searching for an alternative.
The search has turned up nothing.
GREAT APP FOR ANDROID, BUT A FEW ISSUES!
Copying and pasting data from one file into another when both files are open, for example, works perfectly the first time around, but it doesn’t work again when only one row of data from one file is copied over to the other.
The new upgrade is unintuitive for users.
This program used to function flawlessly, but a recent update has rendered it unusable.
Maybe they’re trying to get you into the paid version.
The following is an update from 1/2022:
Recently updated files can no longer be saved easily due to a modification in this software.
Files cannot be uploaded and you are advised to save them repeatedly.
There are issues with this software that must be addressed.
This software has become a real pain in the ass to work with.
It’s gotten worse since the upgrade.
Apps that don’t have the ability to highlight words in PDFs aren’t the only ones I use this software for.
Zooming in and out on a.pdf file has become even more difficult.
That it’s so sensitive that even a light touch brings up the selection bars is the most vexing element.
I’m having to be extra cautious when tapping, yikes.
And because it requires so much RAM, it frequently freezes or crashes (and my RAM is 4GB).
That’s it for now.
As a whole, I enjoy using this software.
The PC version is what I’m using at the moment.
However, I paid for a subscription only to have the software prevent me from using the premium features that I had purchased.
Let’s assume I want to use a letter template when creating a new document.
This is a premium subscription template, and as a result, it informs me that I must subscribe to use it.
Despite this, I DO have a subscription.
Why am I unable to utilize it??
It didn’t help that I installed the WPS Premium Subscription plug-in.
There is no way to change the color of the background other than the five colors available in the program (only works in mobile view).
In wps office in tab, these colors aren’t available.
Make it possible to choose a comfortable-to-read backdrop color.
Without an internet connection, deleted files do not appear in the recycle bin.
Recycle bin files can be retrieved both online and offline in the previous version.
938 MB of phone storage space is consumed by this app.
This is a fantastic app for smartphones and tablets.
Because there’s no equation writer, the lack of a one-star rating is due to this.
A 5 star rating is guaranteed if this is included.
