REVIEW :

I truly enjoy this launcher.

However, there are a handful of drawbacks.

Firstly, the news feed doesn’t operate until a workaround is done.

However, even with the workaround it doesn’t always work.

I have to touch either the ‘home’ or ‘recent’ button and try again.

In addition, and more crucially, for the last two days my home screen freezes for no reason.

I can’t pick any applications or do anything.

The only thing that addresses the issue is the same as the news feed…

Please fix.

But wonderful otherwise!

EDIT: SL has been my daily driver, on all my devices, for the last 9 years.

I actually began to panic when I believed that I might need to replace it owing to troubles which, very luckily, were eventually linked to something else.

The newest edition keeps the original’s fantastic out-of-the-box simplicity bolstered by substantial personalization features.

My fave features are the auto classification of programs and the great connection with icon packs.

I really adore this launcher, I’ve got the premium edition and I really love it so much, totally worth the investment.

There are a couple things I’d like done to it to cap it off and make it great.

One improvement would be to design a shortcut motion to open the notification panel, if I can swipe down on my home screen and open the notification panel is only saves shifting my phone in my palm to reach the top of the screen.

Samsung has this capability on its version of Android.

So far I am liking this lovely launcher.

I love how if you disable all the sites it’s like it reduces all distractions.

Love the customisation also.

So far I enjoy the free version but am considering the premium version.

It is a tad costly at $16.99 for the Full Version, BUT, they have a $2.99 per month option or something in that price level.

Definitely worth checking out!

This is a good app.

But there are many need to improve.

Like when you launch the app the animation must look like the new android version which the pop up and same with shutting the app.

Detecting the double application while creating directories.

And when you create folder, you must exclude the programs that has been chosen.

Also the grid is not catching the complete screen ratio.

The margin is too big.

The Widgets are somewhat shifting when I slide the notifcation panel.

And it grew little when I played

Is truly a pretty nice app.

I’m not sure what the issue was that gave the app such a poor score earlier in the year, but whatever the issue, it’s rectified now and it’s a really robust, easy to use app with unlimited numbers of modifications.

I used to utilize final interface, but I’m pleased I made the move.

My fave launcher by far, and I’ve tried them all (nearly) (almost).

I appreciate that the typefaces are changeable, and that SL’s theme colours alter dependent on the background.

I would appreciate some alternative pages, e.g. anything like a widget drawer or an RSS feed as I don’t use the “News” page.

Biggest issue is auto-sorting programs into categories: I want to set a default category or folder for all new apps, instead of them automatically generating a category upon install.

I adore how the software works.

It’s clean and contemporary.

I did have an issue we’re it would crash and will not show the crash screen.

After a time of not using SL

I got it again and it worked.

Also I would want it so you can switch applications from one category to another since I have apps in a category that they don’t belong in.

For whatever my experience is worth:

This launcher is my go-to.

I use Microsoft Launcher regularly, for function, but I just really appreciate this launcher’s easiness and versatility.

It’s a “fun” launcher without feeling or appearing like a gimmick.

(Yes, I too suffer issues here n there throughout the years since SL3, but I reside in Oklahoma!

(Where if u don’t like the weather u may wait a minute and it changes totally)

So I’m comfortable with waiting for fixes when the overall result is so fulfilling)

Purchased Pro version of SL6 and I’m extremely glad as I was a free user for over two years and premium features elevate it to the next level, however glitch is double touch icons in dock (including shadows) gets clipped.

I’ve reported this via mail on 20 March it’s been 5.5 months still it isn’t repaired and it concerns me since I use squircle icon pack in which it’s plainly visible 😕 other than that PERFECT is the word for this launcher.

Hope it doesn’t be acquired by any major corporation

Feature rich launcher with a horrible news page.

A wonderful launcher with loads of customizing possibilities, this is definitely worth keeping on my phone, but, the Microsoft Start news page truly is trashy and a very strange choice for a launcher that is so nice and feature packed, surely there must be a better alternative for the news page?

A extremely beautifully designed, user friendly launcher.

All of the things that I prefer to “tweak” (fonts, icons, lay-out, font and icon sizes) are readily controlled using this launcher.

And about icons, this program handles third party icons quite well (like other launchers, some periodic tweaking is necessary for specific icons) (like other launchers, some occasional tweaking is required for some icons)

Best of all though is that while it’s a free program, it’s NOT filled up with advertising.

BRAVISSIMO to the developers of this launcher!

Amazing launcher, the greatest one, extremely fluid possibly even smoother than the pixel launcher, enough modifications, all clean and simple, I hope it will continue this way, clean and smooth in the future.
