I recently encountered a problem and thought I’d share my experience in case it turns out to be a bug or is of use to someone else.

Android 9 is my current operating system, and I’ve been using this app for years.

In order to free up some storage, I recently relocated all the apps with an option to the SD card that I could find.

A week later, I went to utilize PowerDirector, and all of my movies were missing from the app, even though they were still on my phone.

When I used the sort -by choices, the videos displayed in different ways, such as 47 videos ascending and just 4 videos descending, depending on the setting.

The images appeared to be working properly.

Nothing worked, even after clearing the cache and rebooting my phone several times.

That’s when I realized I’d relocated the program to the SD card and all of my newer recordings were missing from the list of videos that appeared.

The problem was solved by moving it back to internal storage, deleting the cache, and restarting the device.

I’ve been using PowerDirector for the past five years, and I must say that it has greatly improved during that time.

Everything you need to edit is right there, including the ability to duplicate computer effects in more current upgrades!

Cut and delete buttons should be moved out of the menu area, and an option to disable auto-adjustment for photos and movies on screen should be added.

Wouldn’t that be a huge time-saver?

To tide you over till then, I’m awarding you a solid 3 out of 5 stars.

Recently, it has been a little unsteady while editing huge source clips, although it could be a hardware problem.

Overall, I’ve been using this app for over a year and can’t say enough good things about it.

However, there are always areas for development, but as a whole, this product has a solid, trustworthy interface that is easy to use.
