The launcher is unusable due to nova7 changes. There are no options to disable the transition animation on your home screens. There is no way to disable home screen transition animation, regardless of what you do. The transition is painfully slow, even when it’s set to “None” in the look and touch menu. Nova 6 was different. Nova 6 was different. Developers must stop removing features from previous versions and instead add them back. The phone will feel slow no matter how many new features are added. You can always use another device until they fix this.

Although this is my favourite launcher, it could use some optimization for the Pixel 6 Pro. For example, when I try to use gesture control with picture in pic mode, it will stutter for a moment before showing up on my home screen. The regular pixel launcher shrinks the page to the correct size when I swipe up from its bottom. There is no lag or stutter. This is what I would like with my Nova launcher. I hope an update will fix this.

Before the update to version 7, I gave this launcher five stars. This is a downgrade as many of the great features have been removed due to incompetence and laziness. The transition effect between home screen pages when you swipe between them is so slow that I have to make myself a cup o’ coffee every time. Version 6 offered a “faster-than-light” option. This was great. The boffins who make bad decisions made a poor decision. I’ll give this app another five stars if they release an update to version 6.

It is a mystery to me how it went from version 6 to 7. All my personalisations have been lost, and the status bar has also disappeared. It is impossible to activate or restore it from the settings/option. I feel like I was cheated. I would like to be able to go back to an earlier version. Google should also make -ve stars accessible. This version update should be rated -5. It may be time to say goodbye.

It does everything I need and more. It looks great, is customizable, efficient, and all-around a great app. Nova Prime (paid), is a nice addition to Nova, but I never felt that I needed it to enjoy the Nova experience. As long as I stay with conventional launchers, Nova is the only option. It just feels like Nova just does everything right.

Although it’s nice, it constantly loses my shortcuts. They all! I have the Google Weather shortcut, five or six Maps Directions shortcuts in one folder, and three loose settings shortcuts. They’ll all disappear if I randomly go to them one day. Everything and folders. They disappear in a matter of weeks after I have recreated them.

I own a Nokia Nokia 7.2. For years, I hated the immovable Google Search bar. It got in the way of my background and app layout. This integration has allowed me to get rid of the Google search bar and can even surpass it. It’s so easy to modify, customize, and get rid of everything I need. I have already recommended the launcher to my prime subscribers, and I will continue to do so!
