REVIEW :

Good app but, latest version stopped utilizing the edge of the screen in movies so that it ends at the start of the punch hole camera in the screen and does not utilize the complete screen (which makes it much smaller viewing movies) any longer on a samsung a52 5g.

I hope this is fixed

I purchased for the pro app as I felt it was really nice before pls fix for another star ty.

I truly appreciate this app however the casting option has complications.

If I try to cast a video, it will ask me to transcode it.

I never do since, in rare cases, it will let me cast with out converting.

Sometimes, it won’t even inform me to convert.

It acts like it cast the video but shows the MxPlayer screen.

Nothing else.

If it can’t be corrected, I’d advise MxPlayer remove the casting option.

Since it doesn’t work.

Been using this player for years.

Never had a problem.

Do have a suggestion.

Would be amazing if there was a view option that would hide the notch but video would cover the bottom navigation buttons.

Been using this for absolute years.

Never had difficulties.

So fantastic of you doing this instead of the typical a-holes creating many new premium versions instead of upgrading the paid for software.

Where are the codec downloads?

You used to have the links in the description and now they are gone.

Some folks require them.

Wonderful software, easy and great.

I kind of wish they had video previews, however, nevertheless, I have used the app for a long time and had very few difficulties with it as is

Great player, but, it’s hard to browse through the settings, it’s hard to use and learn the symbols without words below them.

Great software but a tiny bug has risen its ugly head.

Starting a video from the sd card and trying to skip a few seconds forward and the movie lags or stops before playing again.

everthing vlc player features and more, including pan and zoom a must have for surveillance film playes 4mp (2k) H265 .

avi files well in SW mode and im guesing it would function equally as well on 8mp (4k) however I dont run my resolution that high… to conserve bandwidth

Love it.

At one clip landed me a lawsuit that’s for sure.

Because I was able to upload from my security system immediately to my phone and the clips were kept in the library and play back with no hassles.

Even being AVI files.

I truly enjoy this software.

Although I do not get to utilize it as much as I would want.

The best player, but the latest version carries a bug with PiP mode as several reviewers have already stated previously: when set to “Stop” or “Play video/audio in background” the PiP button in the player doesn’t work and when set to “Play video/audio in PiP mode” the PiP button works, but its impossible to play the video in the background mode without PiP window on: closing the window stops the background like it should.

So, please, repair the PiP button for the first 2 modes.

The app is wonderful in every way.

I only face an issue when attaching my USB-C Flash drive, the app indicates that the drive is connected but when I want to view my media it shows the “Ejecting” message and the USB flash becomes unavailable.

Can you assist?

I wish MX Player had the option to extract and copy text from the video, as you know occasionally text appears and I want to remove it from the video to make it easier for us.

I hope you will think about it to implement this functionality.
