It was going really well, I had just finished the first level and signed up to go to another level – I signed up all year, and soon, the word-learning videos and questions were off !! ?? And it quoted ‘you have internet problems – which was a complete lie as I checked and it was as fast as before. What is this ?? I mean it shouldn’t be that what’s being done is just too bad THE MOMENT we pay you for the app.
There are many problems with the free version. I started learning Arabic. I chose the middle level. When I started reading, I could see that there was a difference between a word and a phrase. Sometimes the pronunciation is different from other times. I draw your attention to fix this distraction. If this problem is resolved, I will give you 5 stars.
I use this app in conjunction with other learning tools. I have not used it for so long (30 days). I think it helps with sensory perception and I think buying it. I am learning Portuguese and this is one of the few apps that teach European Portuguese instead of Brazilian. I don’t think you can learn a language using this app but I don’t think you should learn either. It’s just one tool in a box.
Love the videos and exercise! You are set to visit or live in a foreign-language country and have unusual contact with people. Like, what are we doing this weekend? We need to meet sometime! Njll. I think UX could be a little better, to show progress towards goals. It would also be good to connect with other language learners like Busuu. 🙂
I absolutely love this app! I usually play on a computer, but more recently, I have downloaded it to my phone. It’s easy to reach, and it prepares me for my exams! I use this app for about an hour a day. I think the board of directors is forcing me to learn more. You should definitely get this app and make sure your teacher gets it, too. It has saved me so many times I can count. Edit: It’s been a year since I wrote that review and I’m still saying all the names! Memrise is amazing at school! 5/5!
I have been a fan of memrise since 2010 believing that..a sound problems, I can not hear half the examples or the program slides a few loud words or phrases and make me jump in my seat. Lack of volume control options is frustrating. I haven’t seen the ads yet so I can’t say that. Lol I love what I see here so far.. blink .. review, get feedback during recording. Memrise was amazing and offered hundreds of PC applications. Still testing mobile information.
I love this app and website. You have been using them for years. However the app was not syncing on the website recently. I restarted the lesson on the website, because the app does not have that function. But the app still holds me to my old level, and will not update to show a restart. Even after uninstalling, re-installing, exiting and logging in again.
Being a sighted student, this has helped me to understand more the languages ​​I want to learn and to make the local people speak it as it is. It is also good to know which are legal and informal uses! I prefer this to other apps like Duolingo.
