Many problems with this app, and it’s amazing that they’re still there after all these years.
There is a first fundamental flaw in that it doesn’t explain what you’re learning.
If you’re given a picture and asked to guess, you’re going to get it wrong a lot.
So you know exactly what’s going on, they should translate the picture for you.
People in my situation are forcing me to learn the alphabet in Russian while not properly translating it.
I’m baffled as to why anyone would find this acceptable.
My 7-inch phone doesn’t have enough room to fit the button to play audio for answers, so I accidentally press it every time I want to hear a sentence’s audio instead of the answer.
In order to play audio, it would be nice if the button to do so was adjustable.
With voice recognition, even on the easiest setting, you’re likely to be rejected if you say something that doesn’t even come close to the required pronunciation standards.
Since last year, I’ve been able to maintain a consistent diet.
I can do this when I’m too tired to do anything else.
I’m fluent in French and can vouch for the course’s quality.
The Irish is recorded by native speakers with a Kerry accent, which isn’t quite as solid as the French, but it’s still a good recording overall.
This is what I use for Russian and Italian, and it’s what I’ll continue to use in the future.
Having a Russian lady mistake me for a native speaker has helped my accent tremendously.
I bought a monthly subscription to the app and installed it on my phone.
So far, I’m satisfied with the service.
A lot of time and effort has been put into making the app easy to use and understand.
I’m getting the hang of things quite quickly.
Anyone who wants to learn a new language should use this app.
Using a mobile phone, it’s nearly impossible to read the image options at the top.
No, the clumsy and time-consuming long-press-to-enlarge solution you devised is insufficient.
In addition, the lesson pace is so slow that it makes the entire experience feel like a chore.
It’s a complete waste of time, so I’ll never open it.
Another thing that annoys me about RS’s teaching style is the fact that she uses 100% inference and zero instruction.
