I used to spend hours on this app every day but now it’s just not worth the hassle. I understand that they are trying to provide a more interactive and fun experience for people, which is great! But all of these animations, video game features, and clunky long ads have made my favourite mobile learning app unusable with too many interruptions during lessons.

I’ve been using Really Good Apps’ “ABCs” apps since 2013 when I was eight years old (and even had them as part of my homeschooling). They were really enjoyable at first – simple yet informative tutorials in alphabetical order – you could do one lesson per minute without feeling like your brain would fry out or anything else crazy happening from over stimulation…

Duo is the absolute best way to learn languages! Duo offers a quick and easy-to-use interface, with interactive lessons that can be done in as little time as 15 minutes. You also have multiple language options for English speakers like Spanish, French, German or Italian. The app monitors your progress while you’re studying so it’s super helpful if you want some accountability when learning new things on your own or are trying to set goals for yourself by taking online classes at home too! There are occasional ads but they aren’t bothersome since I don’t even notice them anymore 🙂

Duo has been my favorite app this year because not only does it offer an extremely user friendly layout where you get straight into the action without having to search.

This app is great for those days when you just want to pick up your phone and learn a few phrases. It’s easy, fun, and addicting! The one downside? You can’t use the gems that it awards you anywhere.

Duolingo is an amazing app for learning any language. It starts at the basics and you can learn as much or as little as you want to. You are awarded with points (mistakes) depending on how well your answer was matched, but if it runs out there’s no need to worry! Just click empty heart in top right corner of screen-after that just watch a video ad and boom another point back 🙂 I took spanish in high school but never applied myself because my teacher only taught me grammar rules without giving us opportunities speak Spanish outside class time so I had trouble retaining what they were teaching us… Long story short Duolingo has been awesome for having some fun while actually getting something done too; plus it helped motivate me into.
