So far I have no problems, it performs what it should and every phone I’ve used over the previous decade and a half, ran quicker with it.
I’ve had no security concerns when installed either, if there’s anything that appears suspect, this software highlights it and offers advise and alternatives on what to do.
I’ve used Avast on my lap tops for many years too and it’s never let me down!
Always a must have for all my online enabled gadgets and I continue to suggest Avast products to everyone I know.
Overall, fantastic experience.
Have been using Avast as my main AV for several years now, and haven’t had any troubles.
The only “problem”, if you’d even call it that, is that it visibly slows down any device that it’s installed on (a tiny price to pay for security and peace of mind) (a small price to pay for security and peace of mind).
As an aside, I do wish I had the opportunity to modify the Firewall outside of the typical “Web Shield” choices, but that might just be me being excessive.

I’ve used Avast on every phone that I’ve had for years!
Yes, there are advertising and I realize commercials can be bothersome sometimes but to use Avast for free, the ads are paying for your safety.
If ya don’t like advertisements, upgrade and pay for the protection.
For the most part, the advertising don’t bother me.
Always found this a reassuring app to have on my phone, however have noticed recently on my device’s accessibility settings a “this app is malfunctioning” and “app not operating” error message.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the program appears to cure this for a week or two, although it isn’t really confidence building.
Update, as of 07 September and a replacement of phone, the same difficulties have occured again again.
I’ve been using this app for a time now and I haven’t really had any troubles until my phone finally updated to Android 11.
But even then the issues it was encountering were shortly lived since the software updated a few times after 11 was installed.
Already using bitdefender and still am, I saw some benefits this Avast software offers like running through the apps cleaning the cashe so I don’t have to sold me and got the premium version.
The forcestop option also helped at times.

Works as described, I have so far been delighted with this product.
I am almost feeling secure that I am 1 as invisible as you can get, and safe from evil sites, tracking, location,and other probing.
For this price, it’s been impressive.
I would recommend this to anyone, needs a VPN, and if you have a VPN it’s configured for that also.
Worth every Star ,and I think it’s a reasonable price for safety and peace of mind.

It won’t scan.
I think it has been disabled but I have no clue how to enable it.

When you click on it, it leads you to the app under settings but there is nothing to do.
Avast Security for Android is a really high quality software that works effectively.
It has tremendous features, delivers powerful protection and has a nice UI.
I am enrolled to Avast Ultimate and find the security service extremely handy.
I find its features such as fraud prevention, Web Shield, App lock, Photo Vault very handy.
I enjoy the fact that the impact of Avast Security on battery is small and it does not slow down the phone.
Avast Support is also extremely prompt and very helpful.

Avast is a superb antivirus and mobile security, probably the finest in the play store!
It comes with a garbage cleaner and other goodies such as web protection that checks fishing sites continuously.
Everything works well with virus definitions updates around the clock.
If you truly need a solid and dependable antivirus and mobile protection then I definitely suggest Avast!!!!!!!

I’ve always used them.
Kinda frustrating that a message shows up once a week (sometimes twice) indicating there’s been no scans in the prior 7 days.
I really don’t need to run it that often so that’s moderately bothersome.
Avast Antivirus is altogether a terrific program to use on either your phone or Computer.
The first time I heard of this stuff was when my father’s buddy who works for this firm loaded an earlier version of the app and it functioned beautifully.
My computer performed better than before and was able to catch things that no other programs such as this would capture and it gives alot more than other apps too
Closing programs operating in the background is faster than prior version.
Alerts you to garbage and unwanted apps that can be dealt with.
Great to have software watching out for your gadget because their are so many robbers seeking to ruin stuff that’s not theirs.
I have been using it for a long with the ultimate premium edition.
And till today things appears to be good.
I have not to scared about my phone being tap or my private communication being hijacked.
In the contemporary techonology like today, I thing we need vpn and avast supplied with acceptable fee which I consider really low price to pay…

Guys, you have been establishing benchmarks in PC since long and so does Android.
I realize u need advertisements to run, but pls prohibit them at least on the front UI or make them display after scanning etc within UI in a box instead of complete page.

Really wonderful software I suggest anybody to try it.
Somedays ago I accidently got a Malware it was entirely invisible therefore I didn’t detected it later I confront some troubles with my phone.
Then I downloaded Avast it merely scanned the program and recommended me to uninstall it.
Then it showed me the app and I removed it.
It is definitely a terrific software.
Phenomenal.
Avast was recommended by a Geek Squad employee roughly 4 years ago for our PC.
When my android tablet started acting up with the Omcap infection I decided to give the free software a try.
On first application it made a world of difference.
It now charges rapidly and to 100% and this is a free software!
When our existing PC protection finishes we will convert to Avast as well.
Highly recommend.
It helps to check malwares in the full of my smartphone and notifies me if it identifies any hazards that need to be handled.
It also features website protection in case I visit any harmful websites.
I use it for free but these 2 items are already incredibly handy.
