The software works nicely 90% of the time, I’m pretty impressed with it. The UI is easy to use and everything is set out clearly, would absolutely recommend this to anyone streaming from console; especially Xbox because views and comments aren’t connected. It is easy to share the stream when you start broadcasting, simply one button click and you can pick which platform, share the link, and done. Good software overall, however Casting to another device (Chromecast) is not functioning smoothly. The Video is stalling every 10 seconds, even at low resolution. Meanwhile, using the YouTube-App, casting works wonderfully. If this problem stems from Twitch having a tiny buffer, I would prefer an option to raise the buffer, I really don’t care if the stream has a 30s delay, I just want to watch it. Latest update with the Featured Clip part taking up half the screen at the top of the Following section may have been one of the worst UI changes I’ve ever seen, and there is no way to disable it. Please remove this function, or at least offer consumers the opportunity to disable it. Chat replay constantly freezes. There’s no chapter selection for mobile. Mobile is incredibly spam encumbering. I can’t see 1/4 to 1/3 of chat occasionally as consequence. It’s made for PC. There’s somewhat of a disconnect I.e. emotes: can’t see, can’t utilize. I didn’t comprehend cancel culture till i downloaded this app. It is an excellent app in a lot of respects, I simply had a lot unfavorable encounters. ADpocalypse! Ads, Ads, Ads, Ads, Ads, Ads, Ads. Also, horrible personal accountability. Twitch is absolutely slow with this update, I have fast connection and decent hardware which is just fine to play videos smoothly on twitch mobile app. But recently both on my pc and mobile the nothing plays lag free smoothly, everything stutters after 2-3 sec then plays then stutters again, not the internet issue, 4k video on YouTube plays just fine but at the same time twitch is struggling to play anything even on 360p, yes tried with low resolution, latency toggled off, no solution!! It is ideal for watching streamers or if u want to stream on your phone. But what I would love to have incorporated is within the conversation BTTV / Frankerfacez emojis. Also that you may utilize the settings the same way you do on the Desktop. For me the most beneficial setting would be exporting a VOD to Youtube on your phone also. For an app that enables for you to view chat in all orientations, listen to VODs and streams audio-only, and pretty much everything else you need in a streaming software, this one is amazingly useful. I strongly prefer viewing and/or listening to Critical Role on here than anywhere else. I like it. Reason 1 – It works perfectly. R2- it does not slow down my tablet. That is great. R3 only the fundamentals. It’s an advantage. Some applications contain so many content that they virtually freeze phone. Not the case of twitch. Do not add too much material to the app. Keep things simple. I don’t know if this affects all drops, but the Albion Online drops do not clear once claimed, so blocking the following drop from commencing. The only way to repair it is to close and reopen the app. Then the drop will display as claimed, and the next one will commence. Also channel point spending fails to operate a lot of the time. It would be at least 4 stars but there are a few bothersome things. First, on mobile you cant utilize the dashboard. Second, there should be a method to bypass the advertisements, like on yt. It is incredibly unpleasant when something is going to happen and you are slapped in the face with 2, 30 second adverts. I know that it is called subscribing to the streamer, but not everybody has money to spend on Twitch. Watch your favorite streamers, get alerts when they go live, all with a wonderfully dependable app! Since they had an upgrade lately, it is *** NOW ABLE TO MOD CHAT incredibly simple *** Pros: Easy to use, good picture quality, fantastic audio, relatively steady, you can listen to the broadcast without video if you wish. Cons: -It costs a lot more to buy bits & Subscriptions on mobile(15% to 30% greater) compared desktop version. – There may be a few second longer stream delay on mobile versus desktop It’s a terrific tool for seeing people play and talk and have fun, however it might be tricky to use while viewing movies. It gets hard and confusing when attempting to monitor someone and present parts and such. Overall, it’s fantastic for relaxing back and having fun! Please get rid of the Recently Featured Clips area at the top of the app. It’s obnoxiously large and needless. I can go right to a stream and look for a footage if I want to, I don’t need it in my face, especially if it’s for followed broadcasters who I don’t watch that much.
