The game is fun, no doubt about it. The spawn rate is either really good or bad at times, but the more you put into it, the more it seems to give back, especially during events. Being in a guild also helps, especially if you can find a group that fits your playstyle well and you can learn how to use guild points to your advantage over time. It should be 5 stars but there is always room for growth in my book.
The gameplay is pretty good, some of the designs look really cool, and there’s a lot of action to help especially newbies. What I will say though is don’t fix what ain’t broke. The evolving monster was perfectly fine, a bit Grindy, but it was simple. The new evolution process on the other hand is pointless and I just really don’t understand WHY they had to redo it. What would only be 5 5* Rmons would be my entire upgrade stash consumed just to evolve from 1 month to *6
Reloaded is better now after the patch, but it still feels like a time sink. Leveling up is such a chore now and drains energy. Running faimon hell took me over 40 wipes to level 35 to 40 for 2x exp, without the boost it would be over 80 wipes (400+ energy), that’s crazy. The rewards of the Abyssal floor are lackluster for the time invested and energy expended. It feels like the summoning war 6 years ago where everything was expensive.
Decent game, it’s fun and the best thing about it is the lack of forced payment for being a phone game. Yes, it has popups, but AS popups, the non-game related ones only appear during launch, in-game they are just advertisements for the games own products, but they are not intrusive, which is a huge element in maintaining a large and active player base. And that the game itself isn’t bad, it’s actually pretty fun at times.
I love this game, but there could be a few improvements. 1: You should be able to leave the auto-battle for the Ascension Trial. 2: I wish you could add an option for 100 replay battles and be able to quit the game when he is fighting (the game can send you a notification if you lose). 3: Chat needs a little more sensors. It is obvious that this game is played by minors and some people are not very good with what they are chatting about. And it is done! Thank you for your time! SW could go places!
I’ve been playing this game on/off for a while. The gatcha aspect of it sucks. But the balance and how they improve the QOL aspects are triple A. It should definitely be ported to the switch console version. Cross link/cross play. Offline mode or online mode. Beats most monster master games available for mobile.
I love this game and have been playing it for years, I have so many quests, earning and learning. A really good game that I recommend to everyone. Even the support system is great at helping me with issues and disconnection issues. They understood and solved the problem. Thanks a lot and great job on the game. (1/27/22) Still playing the game. (7/1/23) I’m still playing the game, the Reloaded update is out, I like it, but there are issues with it that they’ve already fixed. Excellent game and the developers keep improving 👏
I think my review failed and it’s on its 2nd day. I played Raid Shadow Legends for quite some time and of course quit for the same reasons people hate it. I tried this game because it was an easy transition. I forgot my review. This game is more relaxed. Every event since I started? I had 3 times the time needed to complete everything! It’s scrap, of course. But this game is worth checking out. It’s a better environment between developer and player. I stay with them.
I like how the update is going, but I would like to suggest adding a “Remove Chat Filter” button feature, as there are words that are not intended to use filtered words because of how they are written. Thank you!!
I’ve been playing SW since it came out 9 years ago. I’m still interested. It’s one of those games that’s easy to learn and hard to master. You can play casually and choose your favorite weird monsters to use, or you can gain momentum with unique stats and perfect your playstyle to climb the ranks! Love it… Thx SW for still entertaining me after all these years. PS The monster art is pretty magical, keep it up!
This game is ok I would say. It has a great sense of variety and the game is quite easy to understand. The game is also very easy for beginners for the most part, and it’s easy to get right into the pros. But the game has some bad points. The game is a way to hard rate to get monsters into play. Maybe getting five stars with a 5% chance instead of a 0.05% chance is much better. You should also be able to do all transmogs. Also extend the story of the game, it’s too short.
pvp is too dependent on rng like violent processes and gives you no room at all to use fun stuff outside of meta data. A new, persistent real-time pvp style should be added that is much more moderate. There is a special season at each set time where only 4 stars and less can be used, but it should be permanent. Maybe 3 stars and under a single variant.
