Review:

I adore this app, the reason for 3 stars is because there is no alternative method to pay for the full usage of the app. I won’t use google pay because to much fraud. If you could have additional forms of payment like PayPal or debit card I would be paying full year membership for the app. I’d want to pick the intensity. I see how to modify things like brightness and vibrance, etc. however I keep seeing slide across the screen for intensity and on my Samsung phone the image simply slides left and right… Two icons seem to accomplish nothing — one seems like layers and the other looks like two images on top of each other. The titles and thumbnails for the filters have never been particularly useful in explaining what they’ll actually look like on your photo, so the only choice is to try them all and see. Back when Prisma only had 20-30 styles, that was manageable (albeit bothersome). Now that it has 700+ (most of which need to be downloaded before usage), I don’t know what they want us to accomplish. You can only install new filters one-by-one, and it makes you start at the top of the list each time, making things much harder. I use this program to investigate pallete choices for painting 3d busts (~1/10 scale) and miniatures (28mm-75mm). Prisma allows me to transform actual images of the models into a range of various color schemes that are as impressionistic/contemporar as I wish. The predefined filters make it extremely easy to get started immediately. It offers limited Photoshop-like capabilities (e.g., exposure, gamma, etc). The strength is in integrating the extensive variety of creative tools with the photo-editing capabilities. Pro is certainly worth it. Love this app. I do a lot of photography and digital editing and this is a fast and simple method to acquire some pretty lovely textures and effects to work with. All great quality, nothing seems cheesy. I do wish I could make the ad go from the bar, considering I did pay for this, and it took like a week for all the filters to open once I paid BUT it is worth it. IT’S FREE! You have to evade the Payment windows, and most filters have to be bought, but there’s lots of free filters and the selections are fantastic (for a free software). I end up using PSexpress (also a free program) to perform further upgrades, but the in-app adjustments may be better. I would consider buying if file sizes/resolution options were made greater (far larger). Offers a multitude of artistic filters in the basic edition. They may be changed for contrast, saturation, etc., and also for transparency. One looks like an 1800s English print; another like an acrylic painting, and many more. There is also a separate one-day-only filter each day. (You can only use that filter that day.) I haven’t found a convincing watercolor filter among them. For that, get Impresso. Very basic yet efficient, helps me fairly well with my work. it may be wonderful if they add to the system an option where you could perform a little bit of mixing or just altering the degree of saturation of specific portions of the image that become swamped with change in compared to the rest of the picture but still is nice. I’ve used this app for a long and have never rated it for some silly reason.. This software is wonderful for adding unique filters that you can tweak and adjust according to your preference. I’ve used it for Instagram, Mixtape covers, Facebook profile pics, and more; not to mention the daily filter which is always vital to take advantage of so it’s important to check in everyday! Peace to the devs keep working to make it even better. Great app for everyone. My first conversion was from my photo of a floral arrangement to the mosaic style, which is simply one of 500 alternatives. It worked better than I could think. Also, Prisma has figured out the installation onto your phone. It all works so quick and easy and doesn’t take up a tremendous lot of space on your phone’s memory like some of the others do. I strongly recommend Prisma.
