I would give it 5 stars. The app is very good but there is one problem that I face too much and it literally makes me break my phone. When I want to edit a video and search for a media file, it can’t find many files. & if I move the media file to another folder it’s done. It won’t show up in the new folder, but it shows the file in the previous folder, but it won’t let me use it. Please develop the app so that people like me can use it and like it more. I recommend this app and hope to use it more often.
A very powerful video editor. Much to the chagrin, however. The animated transitions between narrative and working widows waste my time. And I’ll do without selfie effects. I just want to edit, add video and audio layers, and apply green screen work, which does everything, but could do it more efficiently. Also missing: trimming a clip at the beginning will throw away all subsequent work later in the piece. Each layer must then be adjusted individually. Each layer should adjust automatically.
The user interface is pretty straightforward and easy to use and get involved in making some really good edits. The only problem I would say is the ad that you can’t get rid of every time you open the app for the first time. Regardless of whether you have the paid version or not. I’d honestly give it a little over four stars, but that’s not an option, so four stars it is.
I absolutely love this video editor. Easy to use. I am editing my review on July 4, 2023. For some reason the app keeps crashing and shutting down. In the middle of the project it also says PD can’t update edits and then freezes. So I have to close the app and open it again to continue editing. Any help????
I love this app and have been using it for years to edit my YouTube videos. However, I haven’t been able to edit videos for the past month. Drops after 1 edit. I have to restart the app and make more edits and it crashes again. I hope this gets fixed soon because I really love editing with it.
I love the app. I wish there was an option to save progress. There are a few errors. I disconnected the sound to put a music track in it and had a different volume for each. I ended up cutting out a few frames of the video and when I cut the audio to the same frames the video merged but the audio didn’t. When I dragged the sound back to close the gap, the sound didn’t fill the space. But I love the app. It produces very professional looking and high quality videos.
Pls fix the crash issue. On android samsung galaxy s20 ultra and s23 ultra keeps crashing. I have the paid version. Which unfortunately is only for mobiles and if you want to edit videos on desktop, you have to pay for a subscription to the desktop program separately. I have been using this for many years. Incidents of application crashes have become more frequent over time. It’s very disruptive to editing and triples to quadruple the amount of editing time.
Amazing app, best for me so far after trying so many others. I had to go back and upgrade my previous 4 star rating to 5 since using this updated version. The only two options left now are the text to video and teleprompter options to really beat every other software out there. I’m really impressed with your efforts so far, it’s not easy. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to improve their video editing skills and attract more traffic. It’s a guarantee!
I use power director on my computer and got used to it. No, I use it on my phone for editing on the go. It’s not exactly the same, but I got the hang of the features pretty quickly. It is also quite fast. Also the price is fair. My other mobile app I was using added $100 to the annual price so I had to switch.
PowerDirector is the only app I like. I also use YouCut Pro, just to put video clips into one and make .mp4. PowerDirector has calling with text and social media. Paying $6.99 or saving money on the annual price is better than the Kinemaster which costs too much money.
