I love this app and have been using it for years to edit my YouTube videos. However, I haven’t been able to edit videos for the past month. Drops after 1 edit. I have to restart the app and make more edits and it crashes again. I hope this gets fixed soon because I really love editing with it.
I absolutely love this video editor. Easy to use. I am editing my review on July 4, 2023. For some reason the app keeps crashing and shutting down. In the middle of the project it also says PD can’t update edits and then freezes. So I have to close the app and open it again to continue editing. Any help????
A very powerful video editor. Much to the chagrin, however. The animated transitions between narrative and working widows waste my time. And I’ll do without selfie effects. I just want to edit, add video and audio layers, and apply green screen work, which does everything, but could do it more efficiently. Also missing: trimming a clip at the beginning will throw away all subsequent work later in the piece. Each layer must then be adjusted individually. Each layer should adjust automatically.
This has been one of my favorite editing apps and I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve been using it for years but recently I’ve had a big problem where the app sometimes crashes or freezes after I make one small edit or change something small. It would just start to slow down for a millisecond and then either restart or say “PowerDirector has stopped working”.
The user interface is pretty straightforward and easy to use and get involved in making some really good edits. The only problem I would say is the ad that you can’t get rid of every time you open the app for the first time. Regardless of whether you have the paid version or not. I’d honestly give it a little over four stars, but that’s not an option, so four stars it is.
Really versatile and intuitive, easy to use. It can produce 4K 60 fps videos, hopefully HDR one day too. It has some nice and easy to use effects. Sometimes I get a resolution error and have to restart the app, hopefully that fixes it. All in all, a really good video editing app.
Amazing app and great customer service. Super easy to use and it helped me build a youtube channel as well as post my videos on other social networks. I recently had problems with my subscription and was unable to use the premium features. Customer support worked with me through several emails and renewed my subscription. They were very patient and sent me lots of information on how to restore my account. Thank you once again.
I have been using this app to make home videos for 6 years now. I love the different editing tools. I just hope there are templates where we could replace video/audio/images with quick social media posts. The mobile app is a bit slow and laggy when multiple apps are open and when there are 3 or more video layers.
Amazing app, best for me so far after trying so many others. I had to go back and upgrade my previous 4 star rating to 5 since using this updated version. The only two options left now are the text to video and teleprompter options to really beat every other software out there. I’m really impressed with your efforts so far, it’s not easy. I highly recommend this app to anyone who wants to improve their video editing skills and attract more traffic. It’s a guarantee!
I use power director on my computer and got used to it. No, I use it on my phone for editing on the go. It’s not exactly the same, but I got the hang of the features pretty quickly. It is also quite fast. Also the price is fair. My other mobile app I was using added $100 to the annual price so I had to switch.
For the most part, a pretty decent video editor with a nice range of effects. The main problem I have with it: the project lags/freezes if you use a lot of effects and transitions between clips. Lags and freezes make it difficult to get the recording and audio timing right because the video is VERY choppy/slow down during playback.
I chose power director because I used another company’s software. And I have to say, I am not disappointed. It’s not a gimmicky video editor. There are things I wish he would do, but he doesn’t. The user interface is clean enough and editing is easy enough for me to edit. Most of the videos I shot for my channels on my phone.
I have been using PowerDirector for years. It keeps getting better. So many features, effects and music. I’ve used it at family gatherings to edit and deliver finished videos to each phone almost instantly. I also use it to create engaging social media shorts for my gaming activities.
