This game demands a lot from your phone because it has such simple graphics and animations. I enjoy playing it, but it’s really annoying that it overheats the device and closes the app. It also worked smoothly over a low bandwidth connection. Now it takes forever to load. So when it crashes I can’t open it until I’m on 5G or WIFI. Fire up your development team and get some coders in there who can run GO more efficiently than it used to.
Solid player since launch. Impressed that Niantic actually listened to players and kept more distance. We are still waiting for the business distance redesign! Changed from 4* to 3*: development is really going downhill – now there are so many “fix” actions for persistent bugs like this. The ‘Routes’ feature was just a total disaster – very few players have access to it and those who can report it as unplayable. At the same time, event ticket prices are rising. Bad value.
Been playing since 2016, overall awesome game! The limit of 50 coins per day from gyms seems like a money grab, especially since these points disappear randomly and randomly. Another thing is the increase in raid costs, why? Those are my only two things other than I really love the game. But lately I’ve been a bit cautious thanks to the routes. As a small town woman, I won’t be recording the routes, but I hope it goes well overall!
Really great game but there was a new update that doesn’t really work. “Routes” there are quests dealing with these paths and yet there is no way to even create a path or follow a path. Remote raid passes have gotten significantly more expensive and you can only do a certain amount (off the top of my head) per day, which is pretty annoying.
I’ve been playing since 2017 and I love it but this is the first update in years (0.277.2) that I’ve had major issues with on my Galaxy S8+🤨 The game freezes right after the splash screen, black screen and the game won’t load.🙁 I need this fixed/updated asap and I’ll be happy to edit my review. Really enjoying the game so far😥
This game is really a 5 star game if it didn’t glitch and freeze so often in ranged battles and just playing in general. I will say that when there are issues and they are reported, they have done a great job of getting back to me quickly and fixing the issue by refunding or replacing my in-app purchases that went wrong…
Could you please fix the soft ban? When I’m a passenger in a car, it registers that I’m faking or whatever it’s called. It’s getting extremely frustrating. I also understand wanting to take a stance on metric vs imperial or whatever, but I don’t want to learn a whole new distance measurement system just for a phone game. It’s annoying to have the app just Google the odometer.
I love this game, the first time I tried to install it a long time ago and it failed quickly, then I tried again about 2 years later and it was much easier, I really enjoy the game and the only thing that annoys me is the A.R. and the fact that you can be so close to the gym and just can’t get there but overall great game!!!
