An incredible app that has a few bugs, but I mostly use it to check images and mark them as red, then put them in a separate folder to look at on my computer. One of the few apps that supports CR3 nicely, I can access the external card by connecting it to my phone.
I have always loved this app. for some reason the images won’t appear in it and it says they are now corrupted. they are not. it is broken? Help. EDIT: only works with older versions of android. I can still use it on my fire tablet lol. please update. I use ai editing but this app is amazing. I followed the instructions and set the path but it still sees everything there as corrupted. please help i have tried everything. on android 13 galaxy a71
Great app BUT. I was seriously impressed with the feature set in this app, I wasn’t expecting it. However, there doesn’t seem to be any option to select photos and perform batch operations in quick preview mode. You can rate them, but when you enter selection mode, the rating overlay is disabled. This makes it very cumbersome to spend, which is what I was hoping to use it for. In addition, it is quite prone to falling. Great file support. This is a real pro tool. If the selection could be fixed, I would be happy to buy it.
TL;DR It meets all my criteria: one time fee, looks good on foldable devices, has a white balance option, has the most used features, and doesn’t require a login to use. It’s not Lightroom. However, for a one-time fee app, it’s easier on the wallet than more expensive subscription-based apps that lack common features like white balance selection. Since I’ve had the Z Fold3, a lot of apps have weird grayed out sides like Instagram, but it takes up the whole screen and makes editing a lot easier.
I’m surprised this app has such a low rating. I tried it because I read that it will edit nef raw files from my nikon z6 on the go, which most other editing apps won’t do. It works perfectly fine, I don’t have much experience with the free version as I got the full version for the Layers/Brush feature once I found it working. The only minor complaint is that it’s a bit laggy in previewing edits, which is probably due to using a mid-range phone with a fairly powerful app.
EDIT 2021 MAR: My version was ad-free for a while. Now there are ads that cover the images if I view them in landscape. Lost 2 stars. ORIGINAL: excellent, much easier to view photos, especially if the files have been renamed, and see the new file names in full. so much for making this app available. it solved a lot of problems for me with viewing images in a reasonable order. android pie can’t even sort some of them in alpha order, but this app can. handles folders EXTREMELY well.
Miles ahead of Lightroom for Fuji raw, very close to desktop Capture One in rendering. Some quirks in the interface (the curves panel incredibly reduces the brightness of the image it’s superimposed on, for example, so it’s impossible to use the whole screen and see the end result – you can use it on the side like any other panel), but otherwise a very full-featured piece of software. I even ditched my laptop and only use the photo editing app, “derawtization” is good!
This is the absolute power of the app. Any issues mentioned in these reviews are 100% user error or cheap. I’ve been using this app for years and can’t imagine working without it. With a calibrated field view, I create files for clients on the same day, often before departure. He can do everything. I don’t even bother using my laptop anymore. If you want to be a photographer, then get used to tools that aren’t shiny and cute. Or just stick with your iPhone so you don’t have to think so hard.
I’ve only been using it for a day and I love it! I was able to get rid of lightroom and fully support paying for this because I can get almost all the features I need and the ability to organize my photos and actually export as lightroom mobile which you can fully use even without an internet connection, which is a complete bummer purpose for traveling photographers or layover time at the airport. For any professional photographer this app is highly recommended! You can even watermark!
It’s slow on my phone (Pixel 5a) and the interface is ugly (but intuitive). But it actually opens Fuji raw files, does localized editing, and costs the same as one month of mobile Lightroom. I wouldn’t make this my primary editor if I had to process a lot of raws, but as a travel editor when my jpgs aren’t good enough, it’s worth the money.
Great app. Would give 5 stars, but the only hiccup is that after exporting the edited image, the phone needs to be restarted to find the location where they exported the edited image. A fix would be great. An excellent alternative to Lightroom.
I edited the image using the app. The camera was a Canon sx220 hs. The camera lens profile worked well. Very nice. The problem is that it only worked once in the free version. Now the app says I am disconnected from the internet. I might buy the paid version but I’m afraid it won’t work. I will have to buy a pay safe card
Finally a great photo app, photo viewer and DSLR photo editor. The best features are: raw file support, local storage ~ no front-end to store files with monthly fee subscription, high customization and the best surprise ~ local network storage file management system!
