Two matters. Update and modification issues. The app shows update available but no update in play store. I’m experiencing the same text input problems mentioned earlier. But have more data. This usually works when typing after a space or punctuation mark. Adding text next to a letter or number often fails and jumps somewhere close but not to the beginning. I can work around the problem with find/replace or paste if what is needed is in the clipboard.
There is a problem with Android and several word processing applications. When editing a document, the cursor moves to a random location and adds or deletes text in the wrong place. This happens with every word processing application I’ve tried. Apart from annoying ads and its unwanted default cloud storage location, Mobi is much better than others.
I love this app. It does everything I need and works great on my Android phone and my Windows laptop for a fraction of the price of a Microsoft subscription. What else could you ask for? A consistently exceptional experience. Expertly crafted for advanced research document creation in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. With this app I can check and edit all my work data (stored on my cloud drive); Excel files, PowerPoint and Word documents. The app will allow me to do much more than is practical on a smartphone, but it’s better to have a tool and not need it than to need a tool and not have it. It saved my skin a few times because it allowed me to make changes and add new information to dfaft documents on the fly without having to find an internet cafe (I was on a motorcycle trip at the time). Although it’s not practical to write on the phone, I was able to make notes in the relevant documents, meaning I didn’t forget anything or go through reams of paper and I could make any changes very quickly when I got back to my work system.
What a great document app! Used almost daily, never had a problem and always performed as I hoped and did what I needed. I’m also not sure where and how others are experiencing the ads, as luckily I’ve noticed them. 🤞 I am not tempting providence.
I love the apps and have been a happy customer for years. The only thing that annoyed me a bit was that right after I upgraded to the pro versions of the apps in the suite, the premium versions came out. And some of them are subscriptions. I will eventually change apps if they are strictly subscription based.
Overall a good app. There is one problem that is annoying – I am a pro user and have paid for it, but the app keeps prompting me to “upgrade” to a personal subscription. The Personal subscription is lower than the Professional subscription, so it is not an upgrade and therefore should not be offered.
I have OfficeSweet Pro+PDF which I bought a few years ago and it would be a 5 star rating but it keeps prompting me to upgrade to Office staff which is a subscription you have to pay monthly or yearly which sounds like a downgrade to me !! I am retired and on a tight budget and don’t want any more expenses in this economy!!
It used to be a great app. Until there is a grasshopper to buy more features. They care more about revenue than users. The app feels like a vacuum cleaner. the salesman refuses to take his foot out the door. If you are going to offer pre-installed software, then don’t bore us to death. Who uses a phone office application except for light work. I have MS Office on my PC for serious work. A smartphone with a finger painting interface is not for serious work. Eliminate bloat in your app and understand how and how the app is used
