I would like to give this game 5 stars, but 2 issues stopped me. I love the game don’t get me wrong and the experience is amazing, however 2 things can make it a great game, here are some ideas: 1) Create a win total with some type of trophy system to keep win and loss stats. 2) Give rewards for winning, the time it takes to complete the game, dice or boards should be free when you get a certain amount of wins.
Fun to play with bots because humans are sore losers who quit the first time they lose. I’m a little confused that the tokens weren’t available when I purchased the forest theme. I basically got it just for the fox, now it wants another $2 to use it? The theme was already $6 and I thought it said tokens were included so it seems like a scam. Other than that, it’s like classic monopoly, but less time consuming than the actual board game (which I’ve always hated, lol).
Pros: very smooth and vivid, almost glitch free. cons: when i play online and a player leaves, a bot replaces him, i don’t want to play with bots, only his properties disappear with him. and there is no chat, which makes it less interactive. I feel like I’m playing ghosts without characters or from competition. I would like to see the boards but with a different property value and a different property structure. so there would be more depth in understanding the board.
This game is great! You can play with friends and family. But only four people can play at once. You can buy tokens, dice and various boards. My least favorite part is that only four people can play, I wish you could add more people. The AI isn’t bad, I’m glad it has this option. It’s bad if you try to play with more than four. But overall it’s good.
Downloaded to add “Play Online with Friends” option. It was great, except our game took longer than we thought (even with quick play options) and we can’t seem to pause the game and resume later, which is annoying. We lost our game when we found this out (we assumed there would be a restore option), the platform is basic af. The Ticket To Ride app platform is so excellent in comparison, I suggest the guys at Hasbro take a look.
There is a bug in the train stations. If two train stations are owned by player #1 and the third station is owned by player #2 and the last station hasn’t been bought yet, when I land on one of the train stations owned by player #1, the game charges me 100 when it should be 50. This situation happened to me twice. It hasn’t happened in another game, so it’s unpredictable. Second, when I play on hard mode, it is extremely difficult. Players will never trade/sell land.
The same problem occurs many times. Monopoly multiplayer just randomly stops in the middle. Regarding the connection problem with this player. The other 3 can send instant chat messages. But the game got stuck. It’s happened 5 times in a week so far It hasn’t happened while playing with friends. But on multiplayer the game stops for only one person and everyone else gets stuck and forced to quit.
Nicely done graphics and faster throws and moves than before. The free parking sound effect is nice when we land on that corner. But we want the option to receive cash or dice. Thanks in advance for respecting this post. Also, many of the weapon sounds are very nice. All bomb explosion sounds are realistic.
This game is very good but it has some multiplayer connectivity issues. And also one problem that can be solved very easily – when we look at the board, sometimes we can’t see other players’ chips very clearly, so you can add some chips so that we can find them easily. Also, don’t let the AI take over when we lose the connection, because it can accept trades that we really don’t want to accept while trading. Really good.
4 stars, would have been 5 if not for rigged game. The animation is great. The graphics are amazing. Monopoly has never looked better! Great custom boards, tokens and house rules. A.I. gets better with increased difficulty, but the dice rolls are blatantly rigged. Make the dice neutral and random! For a game we have to pay for, it’s ridiculous that our rolls are rigged! Create an A.I. to do better business and keep the rolls clean and honest. The game is top notch. I haven’t tried it with human players yet.
