Overall, this is a very fun game! It’s not too bad, the controls are very easy after a while and the graphics are amazing! I gave four stars because I don’t really like the idea of not being able to choose any song you want to play (or I just haven’t seen it yet). It would be cool to pick any built-in track (I wanted to play MK7 Bowser’s Castle) to play tracks that were remade, but that’s just my opinion.
This game needs major improvements before I can give it a higher rating. Ruby’s store prices are completely unfair and unrealistic – you’re screwed if you think I’m going to pay $70 for one racer. There is still NO way to have horizontal/wide menus, so the game is frustratingly clunky and forces you to play sideways and then scroll vertically for menus if you want to play it with a better control scheme. This game needs a LOT of work before it can live up to its potential.
As a MarioKart series regular (and especially a Wii fan), I really enjoy this game. There are exciting characters, go-karts and gliders to create a repertoire of incredible sizes. Personally, I don’t mind it asking for my Nintendo account, as I see it, it has to save progress. However, I believe in it, and it’s not a full Mario Kart game by itself. However, I quite like it. It truly exceeds expectations.
I’ve been playing every day since the game came out. I have Gold Pass but I am ready to uninstall it. The new updates have improved the controls, making it much more difficult to win or even take 2nd/3rd place. place. I’m very frustrating because I’m in the rank 60 area which makes it impossible to progress. Please restore the original controls, this update is TERRIBLE.
I’ve been playing this on and off game for about 3 years now and it’s one of my favorites. Great fun, pretty good multiplayer (with occasional glitches) and NO ADS, which is refreshing these days. I’ve seen a lot of reviews that say it’s worth it to win, but it really isn’t. I haven’t spent any money on it and haven’t gotten to the point where I feel like I need to level up (and I’m level 140 so I don’t think I will). Only real complaint is that they sometimes drop support for older phones.
It provides a lot of fun, I didn’t expect to like the battle mode, but I end up liking it. It’s downside: the multiplayer mode is a bit buggy, still has some lag) and the prices are too high! Is it completely free to play? Yes! But then it takes ages to upgrade and get to higher levels.
Super fun! I’m really good at the game and I don’t have any big problems. I got an error while downloading but I just exited the game and re-entered and it was fine. I’m not sure if I’m playing against bots or other people, but I don’t really mind. It only crashed once (on the home screen). I really recommend it, it’s super fun!
You used to run the app with the music muted if the music was already playing. That was an awesome feature, what happened to it? Also the auto steering is very strong now and I have it turned off! In corners it feels like 50% auto when off and 99% auto when on. Let me really turn it off please, I want to play myself.
Go-karts have impressive elaborate models. The physics engine is very good. The way the karts and characters react to bumps and turns is very well done by the engine. It’s a huge defining factor of the game. Without this specific physics engine, the game would look completely different. The picture comes out very well. Good framerate, has a consistent and smooth feel when the kart gets going. The tracks have unique features that make it quite a fun and exciting experience.
The game is very fun. However, on weaker phones there are no controls to set lower graphics for better battery life. The plethora of pop-ups when you connect and start completing things can be a bit annoying. The free two-week premium is nice. The menu is also a little confusing, I have Metal Mario but it doesn’t show up anywhere other than character selection. Overall, this is a fun Mario Cart racing game.
It’s a great game to burn time and have fun! Simplified mario kart racing with single player cups as well as multiplayer racing mode. There is a subscription, Gold Pass, which offers a lot of content and bonuses. The most terrible is the 200cc mode, which requires a pass. Very annoying, but you can live without most of the features of the pass and still enjoy it. I really like the minigames on the fourth court of each cup! Some are quite unique and I enjoy playing them!
