Some things that would be nice, first, it would be helpful if it showed the turn after next along with the distance so you have an idea how high to prioritize lane selection in the next turn. Second, it would be very helpful if it showed exit numbers and street names earlier for the next turn. Third, it would be helpful if it showed the address for the location sooner. Another thing that would be helpful is showing how busy the destination is, I still end up on Google often. Down with google!

The app itself is decent. Nice clarity. Good access to functions and info. Maps data is good. But the biggest issue I continually face is the lack of effective support. If one sends feedback or raises an issue via emails one gets a computer generated response that has truly nothing related to one’s issue, and it’s a circular non response, seemingly designed to delay or avoid having someone actually have to respond to the issue. This is the primary reason I am likely to leave Sygic. Pity!

It actually works! There are so many fake offline apps in the Play Store, but Sygic has worked for me without an internet connection. Google’s own Maps app claims to be offline, but it requires an internet connection to start navigation. My only complaint is that it’s not really designed for bikes. It didn’t take into consideration bike routes. It’ll be a nice addition if Sygic added an option.

This is my main nav app. I like that it works with AA and the maps are updated every month. But I frequently have to return to Waze or Google Maps. It often doesn’t work when internet reception is poor – which is the whole point of it really – even when the others still do. Edit* After very responsive support I’m updating my review. It’s much better now, but it still sometimes needs a restart, so hence 4 stars.

One request: please display waypoint address and destination, it would help for navigation! Otherwise, nice redesign and well thought through app. It used to crash all the time and it’s now very stable. I think it finally deserves 5 stars thank you. I paid many years ago and still don’t regret the purchase.

Love it, used extensively. Just used it again on a 4800km road trip though Northern NSW, through to Central and North Qld in Australia. A lot of areas without cellphone coverage, worked perfectly the whole time. Looked awesome on my 11″ tablet. Would gladly give 10 out of 5 if I could.

The only thing better than this app is the customer support from the developer! You could take the best features of ways and the best features of Google maps and put them into one app then this would be that app!! It’s really fast, it’s clean, I really recommend that you try it out! I use specifically with Android auto and it is beautiful!!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I use this app. frequently and always amazed about the detail of the maps. Lately I had some problems what should have the attention of the designers. The app stopped working just as I needed it.

My first encounter with it was 2002-2006 My only needs were Navigation across Central Europe – it required a bluetooth sat receptor for geolocation. Merely route selection in traffic mode, no satellite views. Al lot of changes are unnecessary others are missing after almost 2 decades, for simple local needs not useful for my part

I have many reasons for liking this application. I prefer a premium version, and I prefer to store the selected maps on the drive of my choice. Too many other apps have many irritating pop-ups and unnecessary alerts.

Program works just fine with the free version but if I drove much I’d get the premium version to avoid traffic congestion and locate the cheapest gas. I did have to reinstall when maps dissapeared but after reinstall the program works fine (just need to re-enter routes).

Getting better, I like the realtime traffic jam status. Update. I really appreciate their respknse to feedback and the changes they make are actually good. Offline maps is my favorite feature. KUTGW

Update Apr 2023 – Looks like they fixed my issue and it works fine. OP: Have used this app for a few years, always worked great. Paid for a lifetime license back before they went to subscriptions. Somewhere along the line of updates they decided that turn by turn navigation is now a premium feature and no longer covered by my lifetime licence. Now an ad for premium takes up 1/4 of my screen when navigating a route, even though turn by turn was included back when I originally bought the app.
