[Free Download] Google Maps APK v11.98.0301 (Unlocked) App for Android

Review:

Incredible. Makes life a lot easier. When it came out, it was a game changer. No more asking for directions (men don’t like it anyway). However, the feature where you search for a place you’re not currently in and then show restaurants/etc. should be easier near this location. Also, why do you see the icon and name for some places, but for others you have to zoom in even more? And when you zoom in, you won’t see the place names that were already displayed. Icons don’t always open.
Not updating. I uninstalled and updated. This seems to be the correct version. The area I live in shows images from 3 or more years ago. Some businesses have since closed and new businesses are open that don’t show up 3 years ago. This app doesn’t seem to be working properly. Update: I have changed my rating to reflect the updated pictures in my area, thank you.
Like the app as a whole, but the new color scheme for traffic is rubbish. The green color for fast traffic is gone, making the contrast of the streets too difficult to display other navigation options. It forces the driver to pay more attention to the phone instead of driving. It’s fine to see when searching without traffic, but I hate the new look when browsing with traffic.
The app is good but I would like to report what seems to be a bug on Android phones. When opening saved maps, users cannot select their own layers to apply to the map. You go to View Map Legend, select the map you want, and then purchase it. The only option is to leave the map. There is nothing to apply layers and go back to the updated map.
It’s alright. It’s a bit buggy though, it seems to highlight random things at different points of zooming in on a town or city. Some disappear when you get close, some are completely random (perhaps a paid promotion?), eg pointing to a random branch of Claire’s when I zoomed quite far from the city. This makes navigating the city a bit awkward unless you’re looking for something specific.
I love this app. I have a request though… is it possible to have the option to enable speeding warnings? whenever we go X mph over the speed limit (user set variable) to be alerted by a beep or other sounds. that would be a great safety feature. Sometimes I don’t pay attention to my speed and this feature would be very useful. thanks
I rarely have a problem with my travels. I would love to be able to set it to show me the next 2 or 3 steps so I can make sure I’m in the lane I need on time. I would also like a feature that would let me know if there are tunnels on my route and their ground clearance. This would be useful for moving trucks and wide loads – anyone who needs to know how to plan how to avoid tunnels.
He tells me to park behind my house, he talks a lot when I pull up in front on the street. When using navigation, useful for avoiding fines for new buses. Timeline difficult to use and very finicky. A type of reminder not to leave your phone in the car would be smart. S10 plus. The bus schedule is fine when there is a missed connection that causes it to crash and the application will be restarted. It’s three apps in one, walking, driving, bus.
UPDATE: Finally! Maps now read my messages out loud. I don’t think it was a setup and it took a long time because my screenless car caused me to be banned from Drive. However long it took to resolve the issue, please know that we greatly appreciate it. Regarding the conflicting turn issues, I will keep an eye on it and if it continues I will go to the forum. Thanks for the link.
It’s a really useful app. Except for long trips. Then you have to keep an eye on him, because if he thinks he’s found a faster route, he’ll change your route without your permission. Whether it is faster or not, routes should not be changed. It added 2 hours to my trip from Ohio to Colorado. I knew that when I was a trucker. But this time I forgot to keep checking the route.
I don’t know why but I’m using a new phone that I bought about a month ago. Google Maps never seems to know where I am anymore. I calibrate it and literally 30 seconds later it warns me that the accuracy is low even though I’m still in the same spot. It shows journeys on my timeline that I have never taken. And if I drive, the timeline initially shows the correct departure time. The next day they change the departure time. Disastrous app. This app is getting worse and worse
I love Google Maps! It works really well and has a lot of potential. Things I’d like to see added: Customizable badges- I have a flag for: I want to go, a star and a heart, and some blue thing. Let me have more and do what I want with them. Customizable shapes, colors, etc. Ability to draw on the map or create your own specific shaded areas. Check out the link to the small time app map maker. Add topographic maps Add historical satellite maps Longer descriptions for the markers you mark.
In my experience, Google Maps is an incredibly useful and reliable navigation tool that has helped me navigate countless cities and towns. The app’s accuracy, wide range of features, and user-friendly interface make it an essential tool for anyone who travels frequently or needs directions to a new location. However, battery drain and app privacy may be an issue for some users. Overall, I highly recommend Google Maps to anyone looking for reliable navigation
