It has some bugs and sometimes it just says Connect forever. Other than it is. I think one of the most useful chat apps. Unlike other apps, it respects privacy. Really easy to use and meet people from all over the world. Some servers are really useful for my studies. And people are generally nice. I’m not saying there aren’t rude people, scammers and such, but if you’re smart and careful, you’re safe.

No connection to PC versions. It is a problem to run the same application differently on different devices. Most applications keep it similar to make the end user feel at home. I’m also fully focused on gesture navigation (eg: the back button doesn’t work if I’m on a text server or someone’s profile). Found option to disable new UI. I feel at home again.
This app is great! However, I have some reservations. And that’s why it’s not a 5 star rating. First of all, I have a Galaxy S22 and almost a high end phone. However, for some reason it lags at random times and some not so random times. Like when I’m on voice chat and I try to send a voice message it’s super laggy. Sometimes the message is longer than 8-10 seconds, it won’t stop recording and I have to restart Discord every time to fix it. Just one of many examples.
Love the app. The only problem is that the shuffle option was broken for a while, so 4 stars. It would be nice to have it working again. Update: 09/25 Partially functional. Blending 2 images works but not much more. It will try to add any additional images as attachments – which the blend option won’t recognize. It works as it should on the website.
The app is great. I use it every day, but it’s so buggy on mobile. I rarely have problems with PC, but mobile just doesn’t run that smoothly. When I’m using my video camera and I rotate the camera on my phone, I like to just drop it and close the app. Sometimes the channels refuse to show up even on my mobile, while everything is fine on the PC. I recommend this app, but be aware that it works much better on a computer.
Discord is good for chat, I’ve never had any problems, I really like the “roles” feature and the fact that you can use bots on channels is quite useful. In terms of speaking and talking, it’s amazing because it reduces/eliminates background noises and detects whether the noise is a voice or not. The only problem is that you can’t send large files to achieve this: You have to buy Nitro (it’s like “Premium version”). But overall, even if you don’t spend anything, you will enjoy it without any problems.
