It’s a really cool car/machine building simulator. A good game to pass the time. Love the open world, free drive features and challenge features in the game; Personally though, I’d like to be able to pay real money for unlimited gas so I can more freely play with the challenges and open world and not wait or use up gold coins. I would also like to see a feature where players could modify/tune the cars to make them faster or have nitro or install turbos if they wanted.
LE: Upgraded to 4 stars, you can sell partially repaired cars, but it will take a lot of cars to get the money to buy level 5 tools. You’re stuck with cars bought from tier 2 and 3 barns that require tier 5 tools (makes no sense). I have level 4 tools and need to get 200k+ to buy level 5 and can’t sell existing cars… How do I proceed?
The camera is a little hard to navigate and will only focus on one part of the car if you’re trying to fix it, which is a little annoying. otherwise it’s great!
It would be better as a full premium clone of the PC version Edit: Read your answer. I understand it. I’d just rather pay €10 than have this microtransaction thing. But I’m sure it’s already been discussed.
It’s an amazing game, but the problem is that you have to work hard. Repairing LOADS of cars to unlock a toolkit upgrade so you can repair advanced cars. It keeps you waiting and I don’t like that. I like it when you move quickly. But not as a quick cheat. Otherwise it’s a very good game. Maybe there are parts you don’t even know are in the car and it’s educational.
This is what I was looking for for an auto simulator game. Car repairs, restoration mods, etc. Good job making this awesome game. However, there are things I want to suggest about this game. If possible, they will add a drag race event to the game to know how fast your car will build. And also the time to sell the car is very long. It could be the developers idea to restrict the app users from playing the game because it is very addicting lol. Overall the game is so good.
I originally rated it five stars but changed it to four. Although I’m enjoying this game because I’m learning a lot of things, I have one problem. There is only zoom in and out. I can’t drag it if I want to go to the back. It would be easier if, in addition to zooming in and out and turning, I could also drag while repairing the engine.
It’s definitely different from the Steam version of Car Mechanic Simulator. Enjoy playing when my Steam Link doesn’t work due to wifi issues. The gameplay is similar to the PC version in terms of car repairs; the component removal process remains the same. All in all a very good time and a good way to start the day as a general service mechanic to warm my mind when I wake up. If the tutorial wasn’t so… I don’t know, kid friendly and more straightforward, I’ll give it 5 stars.
Fun game, functionality is decent. The only real issue I have is that I lost all my progress and purchases after the recent update. I had all the tool upgrades, several rare vehicles in my parking lot, and my lot was upgraded several times. This made me stop playing the game for a while because I feel like all the stuff I put into it could be deleted at any time. I think this is true for every app.
Very good game so far. It’s still early days, but I’m ticking all the right boxes so far. Of course, it’s better if you know about the car engine, but even if you don’t, like me, I know nothing, the game is still playable and fun. And you might learn a thing or two by playing. Would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for the inappropriately timed ads. Not even like there are many, they just pop up unannounced every now and then. Really smaller. The game is still great
Excellent, addictive and I personally feel that its time is well spent compared to other games. I enjoy trading each part for a 100% repair score, which brings me to my only problem with this game. Tools require more money to upgrade, the better the tool, the more detailed and important parts you can replace. only the cars start off with minor issues, but later in the game it’s disappointing when you can’t fix your cars because you can’t afford another set of tools yet.
