I have been using this app for a long time. I liked the quality of the images it produces. However, I think the app has become bloated over time and has too many features. I just need an app to scan and convert to PDF and then email. I would be happy to pay to get the “lite” version of this app as well as remove the increasingly annoying apps you get in the free version. The subscription price is too high.
I heard about it and saw others using it and it wasn’t until I got it that I realized how much I missed it! This is a complete package scanning and organizing tool. It can scan and accurately determine the edges of a document. You can still edit the document and crop parts or improve the tone to make it more readable. You can reorder the images and save them as one long image or as a PDF. PDF pages can also be rearranged. I’m still new to using it, but I’ve already got the hang of it 👍
I had a government agency that I needed to fill out and sign. I was able to scan it and then use the markup function to insert text. Navigating and using the various markup tools is a bit fiddly at first, but the process is intuitive and I got the hang of it quickly. Then I could easily send it to my email. All this from my phone! Why do I need a PC anymore? This is a great app that is rich in features and functionality that other similar apps lack.
They charged me $50 for the annual version which I didn’t want. I don’t think it’s good that they offer a free trail and bundle it after the most expensive purchase (their annual plan). It should be monthly or something. People are busy and forget to cancel, I have a newborn and she got sick. So I forgot to cancel it. At first they said refunds were not possible. Left 1 star and called them scammers and they fixed it quickly. 4 stars for the way they have the free trial set up.
I’ve said it once before and I’ll stick to my word that nothing comes close to this app when it comes to document scanning and maintenance. Easily create scanned copies and maintain folders of different sets of documents. All-in-one scanning app. I don’t care if Adobe has a better version of this app. This application itself is easy to use and highly reliable when it comes to sending your valuable documents in jpg or PDF format anywhere via email or other forms. Great app.👍👍.
I was going to give 4 stars but the free cloud storage is a whopping 200MB of storage. Why so little, when we already have to deal with ads and a massive watermark when converting to pdf? Edit, that’s pretty good, but I can’t do the Facebook and Twitter sharing tasks, but I’ll give it another two stars because it’s a pretty nice way to get more storage. Edit 2, 1 extra star but I’m switching to an IPhone and I’m surprised it doesn’t have a daily spinner, I wish it had one
Sufficient storage is enough for clearly edited documents. However, support for older devices is waning. With Redmi 3S (Android 6.01) I have to restart the app three times for it to work, otherwise the splash screen is always black and takes forever to load without showing any content. It always works on the third try.
I’m using the free version of CamScanner and I’m so happy with the features I can use. I don’t necessarily need a scanner very often, but on the rare occasion that I do, I really appreciate apps like this. Plus, I can use it for quick work from a company that doesn’t want to squeeze every penny out of my bank account.
Amazing! Easy and professional! I have used it in education to create papers from my paper notes. I use it professionally to create documents with signatures and to transfer documents over the phone. A really easy to use application with great versatility in document management!
When I searched the internet for license plates on a homemade trailer in Florida, the state had a website with information and when I clicked on it, it downloaded a PDF. And showing my options to open it. I noticed that this app had different options to do different things with it and I was kind of overwhelmed so I clicked on one and then sent it to my wife because I really don’t know what I’m doing. and we were gone. So all I can say is like a champ!
CamScanner saves lives. As a realtor, loan officer, and property manager, I work with documents all the time, mostly in the field outside of the office, which requires me to have a handy tool to scan documents that are clear and legible and can be sent back to the office team or potential clients. This app is handy, durable and reliable and I would highly recommend it. I have no complaints!
This app is really amazing. With the premium version, it’s like walking around with a mobile office desk. Everything is easy and paperless. You can sort your files wherever you want as long as you have a data connection on your mobile phone and have it synced with your email, cloud storage and computer. The absolute best app out there. Sharing pdf files, pdf ideas, pdf notes files only pdf period is so easy! Scanning and copying of images, notes, text files is on point, the image quality is amazing with HD images. I could go on. But take it. Well worth it!
This is a must have app! It takes sharper pictures than programming my phone’s camera’s autofocus, and the “auto straighten/select crop” feature allows me to make sure the final “scan” results are clear and to my liking. I like that I can save multiple images as a “batch” / one pdf. & that I can rename it appropriately (according to my own indexing system) before downloading/sharing.
I’ve been using the free version for years and love it. It was able to create a few folders in the free version, but could create as many tags as I needed. Everything was good until recently. Now I only seem to have tags and no other folders. I don’t know what happened to them, but I can’t find them anywhere. I emailed the developer over a week ago and still no response. So now I just live with tags. Disappointment….
This was suggested to me by one of my suppliers as an easy way to scan files and email them. I had to thank him because it makes converting files from image to most formats a breeze! I took pictures, extracted the text and then copied and pasted it onto the spread sheets….nothing!! Take a picture and convert it to a spreadsheet flawlessly!! Thank you!! I signed up to show my appreciation and get more features.
