I enjoy using Camera FV5 and have done so on a variety of phones, most recently a Samsung A52.

When compared to other apps, FV5’s user interface is the clearest, logicalest, and most easily readable.

The first picture I take after opening the app has a significant lag, and each subsequent picture has a marginally smaller lag on my A52.

The review image in the upper right of the screen frequently crashes when you try to access it.

It’s been my go-to camera app for the past decade!

To my knowledge, this has been the case with every phone I’ve ever owned.

The amount of control you have over exposure with the CFV-5 is fantastic.

This is my go-to app every few years after reading reviews and experimenting with the competition.

At first, I use both the Pixel 5’s built-in camera and this one to compare the results in low light.

Updates can be glitchy at times, but they are usually fixed if you stick with the program.

It’s a great app that gives me full control over my camera, but it’s missing a few features that would allow me to use all of my camera’s mega pixels, as well as the ability to switch between my back cameras.

Bracketing and exposure control on the Pixel 6 Pro were major reasons for this purchase.

I’ve got all of that and then some.

The only thing I would change is the ability to use the exact zoom settings for various cameras’ optical zoom focal lengths.

Easy to use, like turning your phone into a DSLR, but it’s hard to figure out what you’re doing with the zoom.

As far as I can tell, this is my third review of this camera app.

The resolution is stuck at around 1080 or lower for some reason, almost like a bug.

I don’t know why it wasn’t like this before.

I’m a paying customer who’s fed up with the service.

The rest of its features are fantastic, but it’s nearly useless due to this major flaw.

The Samsung S21 Ultra sensor is not supported.

Even though the phone supports 30 second exposures+, the exposure only goes to 1/10th of a second, so there is no long exposure.

The gcam mod I used to have worked flawlessly with this on my old realme.

The fact that it still doesn’t work means I have to carry around two or more phones, so I’m guessing it’s because it’s a new phone and things haven’t been developed for it yet.

One could say it’s an interesting profession.
