Adobe has done an amazing job of destroying an excellent application. This was once my “go-to” app, not anymore. Because of greed and foolishness, there are endless interruptions trying to convince users to sign up for an upgrade to the Premium Version. It’s time to uninstalling, and then heading into Snapseed or Pixlr or Polarr or whatever else does not snarl up my editing process for photos. As I mentioned, this was once my favorite application but now I truly dislike it. Congratulation.

Very simple to use on my phone as well as my laptop. I’ve been using it for many years. My only complaint is that when it extracts your photo from your computer, it appears to reduce the quality of the image after it’s transferred to the software. Once you’ve got it inside Photoshop you must get the sharpness up to the top of the slider each time to ensure the quality you had in the original.

Overall, it’s an excellent application for editing photos. I like that I can use watermarks on images and save editing settings. My main complaint is that after you are done with and saved the photo, there isn’t a finished button that lets you return to the beginning for the next picture and if you have to move to the next picture to make changes, you must go through all the photos and then it asks users to save each time they attempt to save. This adds many more steps and can be a real pain.

It doesn’t permit me to make an art piece with no space, which is why I need to photograph empty walls. Or cover my camera with a cloth and capture a picture of an unlit black screen to begin with. It’s not every project focused on editing photos! Also, is there the option of simple text with drop shadows The text styles aren’t necessary. This is a must for kids editing photos for Instagram and is useless for professionals that need to modify images in the middle of the live production.

It’s not as sophisticated as Photoshop, but it does offer a variety of editing options for changing contrast, lighting, and also has some amazing tools to create the background of the image.. I am definitely happy with it and was going into it and thinking “yeah a free photoshop probably just a joke.” It is, however, one of the most effective free photo editors I’ve ever worked with.
