Wordscapes is my most-played game on my phone for months, and I’m thankful for countless hours of entertainment. It’s visually pleasing and relaxing, while also being challenging intellectually. But lately, it’s been causing me to get irritating to me. The advertisements are numerous and quite frustrating. Sometimes, they don’t load, effectively locking the game. Although I’ve turned off sound on the settings, at times the advertisement will start blasting away! I’m also annoyed when it doesn’t accept the correct meaning of a phrase (like “tule”).

I was a fan before every mini game and there are now too numerous ads, even though they’re brief. If I reply to a text message, I’m required to view an ad after I get back. If I scroll the menu on my phone to change the setting, I am forced to view an ad once I return. I would also like to easily save certain backgrounds as wallpaper. As always their dictionary is lacking lots of words and also has a variety of rules for the use of non-English words and abbreviations.

Update: They finally fixed the speed when I experience butterflies, and it’s much better! Thank you. Previous: I love all things except for the butterfly game that’s so annoying! It took me between 4 and 5 times to make a butterfly however, now it takes more than eighty cocoons (probably 25 or more games that’s probably an hour of playing non-stop) to produce one butterfly, and I can barely get any further! I’d like the developers to do something to change this. It’s creating the whole situation to be so difficult.

I am a huge fan of the game and played for several years. I don’t like the fact that a few of the lengthy advertisements aren’t able to be skipped occasionally. While the ads aren’t as frequent, they are (quite often) however, it’s more convenient to skip them after a couple of seconds, like the majority of other ads allow. I also don’t like being randomly hit by a long advert mid-level since I had to turn off my computer off for just a second…I have already seen one to begin the stage. It’s a bit frustrating.

Very well made and addictive, however advertisements are annoying. The majority of them are not skippable and appear all the time. It appears to show an advertisement each time I go to a certain level and they appear whenever I go back to the app after having left another application, or dismiss the notification. It’s too much. I’ve decided to kill the app and relaunching it each time an ad is played.

With the update, there are is too full of ads and costly to get rid of advertisements (PS10). I am talking to my friend via messenger during this game, and each time I click the bubble, and then come back I’m greeted with an ad which I’m obliged to view for approximately 30 seconds because when I click the bubble once more, it’s stopped. There’s usually no X and I must keep pressing on the return button. It’s causing me to lose motivation to play. I’d like to see more banner advertisements. As others have mentioned I had a problem where there are no stars due to the nature of the advertisements.

The mistake of getting stars in the daily puzzle can be frustrating. Watching that once your efforts have paid off you receive it, and the star vanishes. I’ve tried a myriad of techniques like switching off WiFi and closing the app prior to playing the final word but it’s not a problem. It is clear that there is an issue. It’s becoming more severe. Fix this issue.

Fun, playable even with ads that were a bit difficult to end. So I watched them while playing. Then there are always “ad breaks” multiple times throughout the game. constantly. If you tried to come up with reasons to force people to remove the game, you’ve did it. It’s no longer playable. Too bad. Uninstalling. I’m not sure what went wrong. The regular “ad breaks” stopped and continues to play as before. There are no ads between games. It’s fun once more.

The game was very excellent at times. It was possible to play the level, then watch ads, then rinse and repeat. However, now I receive the “ad break” a few times in every puzzle. Even if it gives me coins to watch the ads, it’s gotten me to the level where I don’t want to participate. I am fine with ads. They shouldn’t be forced to me playing the game. I’d be happy to give this five stars but for this. If anything, it’s a good option to make. It was a bad choice for that team of developers.

I could manage the occasional ads prior to this update. But the person who thought of that “ad break” idea should be removed from the company. It’s extremely frustrating to be playing an event and then be interrupted by an advertisement. Ads should play during games, that’s all. I’ll find a different game to spend my time on. Upgrade to a 3 because it appears that the ads breaks are no longer feature to the game. If it doesn’t include them, I’ll likely upgrade to a higher level.
