They can be read to you (in an authentic, properly accented voice) as they are read. (In case you are unsure of the meaning for you, take a look at the English version of the text.) Fantastic idea! The app can help you to master new words and to improve your pronuntiation and listening skills.The texts are read by those who clearly are native, however, certain of them do not express any emotion, or the sound is too noisy or distorted. The music feature includes English songs. News section reads by computers (for me, it’s not fun). The app is excellent and there are three major enhancements that are needed, but users are able to learn a lot in spite all that. I would recommend it.

This app could be useful for you, but a few of the tasks I’d like to accomplish are too complicated for the application. The interface that displays when you are in the text mode is difficult to understand and isn’t clear. Furthermore, I’m unable select more than one line. My selection is restricted to one line at a given time, this is difficult to translate or include in my glossary several words at one time. I’d recommend an improved translation interface than the default 2 second long text bubble in the system.

It’s ideal for my reading classes. I’m trying to use a natural voice while writing in Hangul (Korean) as well as Hanzi (Mandarin) as well as an alphabet that is mixed in Japanese. It has significantly improved my level of literacy and I’ve been able to identify a variety of sounds. It also has improved my memory speed for characters. Overall, this app was exactly the feature I was searching to find when downloading the application. The only thing I would have liked it included was a romanization feature.
