REVIEW :

this is the best chess app I have seen.. it has everything in it but I think it needs to improve to a higher level and I have some ideas… for instance; assuming someone is playing a tournament of either biltz or the 10mins and above games and for some reason the tournament timed out.. both parties can save their positions and continue the play later..

Good game but disconnects for some reason.

I was in the middle of a game, probably no more than 3 moves from winning and it seemed to disconnect after my move, there was a countdown by my name saying auto resign but I was connected to the WiFi and there shouldn’t have been a problem, then when that went down the opponent’s timer started going down and went down to zero but then it was just stuck on that screen, didn’t say I won or anything so I can’t start another game.

The website works excellent, however twice already I’ve lost matches on the app due to the app loosing connection.

I have full service and had no difficulties with this before the most recent upgrade.

One game I even had mate in one, the opponent didn’t play and their timer struck zero, but the game didn’t finish.

My only alternatives were to close the app or “resign” I closed the app and on coming back it indicated I lost due to abandonment even though their timer struck zero.

I used to play chess in college, but after beginning working in corporate it was lost in time.

I recently found out about this app and it’s been wonderful, you get to play with gamers all around the world across genres.

You also be assigned ratings, may learn moves, practice and keep improving yourself while having fun.

A hundred percent recommended for chess fans.

Works well and helps new folks learn.

I’ve been using it for a long time now and there has never been a bug or an ad even though I haven’t made any purchase in the game.

The puzzles are enjoyable (particularly considering it’s free) and there are even bots you can match while your offline.

I would suggest it to everyone who enjoys chess or wants to learn and btw you can study your game for free and it tells the moves you might have done or movements you missed

Brilliant software, however is it possible to include an option for more time while playing a game, much as the draw option, but for and extra 5/10 mins.

The amount of times I’ve been in a really fantastic game and it just starts becoming hurried at the end because we’re both running out of time.

Downgrading by a star.

nice app, having used it for a long now, still prefer the browser version which allows greater access to prior games, rating changes every game.

Only stopped using browser version due to current bug concerns with it not showing captured pieces accurately recently.

May try again because app version had mysteriously list connection 4 times and resulted in abandoned games and I’ve lost roughly 30 (hard won!) rating points!

I’ve got the screenshots to prove it.

amazing app.

definitely helps you to progress, always pick a nice game with a person approximately the same skill level, and 99% of people are pleasant, and don’t cheat.

the small number that do, will get found out.

problems and obstacles that make you think, teachings on strategies have definitely helped me to grow.

thanks for such a nice app.

Great program with outstanding functionality, intuitive UI, opportunity to play limitless games against real people, friends, and varying challenges versus the computer.
