REVIEW :
Functionality is absolutely wonderful, however I wish there was more flexibility.
Currently you can only really choose a backdrop and whether the keyboard is flat or buttons, but it would be nice if you could basically be able to build themes as awesome as some of the options.
You used to be able to buy spectacular themes, like the Halloween themes and so, but this too is gone away.
I was very delighted when clipboard sync came out.
It’s incredibly beneficial to copy and paste from desktop and mobile, but the capability failed to operate most of the time.
I regularly went in the program to check and the “sync clipboard history” setting turns off by itself along with description mentioned anything wrong with my account.
Please solve this!
I was experiencing problems so I removed this keyboard and then reinstalled it from the Play Store
the new keyboard is different!
it doesn’t have the navigation buttons or the separate number pad that you may shift to.
really disappointed.
update: eventually located another settings place and I was able to bring back my previous keyboard.
All is good – amazing software!
My fave Android keyboard.
It’s got everything I need, customizability, resizing, themes, gifs, etc.
The only thing that drives me nuts is that it tries to predict many words at a time, which are nearly always total rubbish.
It’s like the predictive text is drawing in data from everyone else’s awful language and mistypes.
I wish there was a way to restrict predictions to one word or something.
Otherwise, I have to delete them manually entry by entry so they don’t come up again.
Such a pain
The plethora of themes,layouts, fonts, customized word recommendations based on your prior vocabulary and word addability capabilities are simply a few of the outstanding features and qualities of Microsoft SwiftKey keyboard.
I’ve been using this keyboard software for several years now, but I’ve lost sight of the passwords for some of my earlier email accounts, so I’m beginning over with constructing my own personal dictionary with my own vernacular, much as it used to be, but I have a long journey to go!

I think a useful function is lacking in this fantastic keyboard.
Sometimes I have to italicize, bold and underline texts.
But, each time, I have to go through all the procedure again and select one of them, which is aggravating when I do it for times.
So, I think it would fantastic to have a feature that could retain the keyboard in a certain mode where we can perform numerous operation on the text like highlighting, underlining , etc. without having to complete all the procedure over for each time.
I’ve been a fan of swipe typing for years.
After exploring most of the solutions out there, SwiftKey is certainly the best.
Fast and clean.
One recommendation I have, though, has to do with the themes.
Most of the greatest colour schemes are made accessible under the ‘minimal’ style, which doesn’t reveal the alternate (long-press) key functionalities.
If you could make those colour schemes accessible with the ‘carbon’ or ‘material’ layout, revealing the alt functions, that would make it great.

Fantastic keyboard, works much better than Samsung’s default one which never learns.
HOWEVER if programmers see this, PLEASE avoid placing a space after picking a word from predicted words and there also should be more predictions (now just 3). (currently only 3).
Every time a word is picked there is a gap automatically inserted, which makes punctuation putting a hassle.
Not to mention when you want to amend anything.

Changed from 2 to 4 stars.
Worked good for 2 weeks then returned to not picking up motion like previously.
Constantly making adjustments to the most simple, regularly used terms.
Very annoying.
Autocorrect is harsh and implies bad intent.
Somehow just now when I swiped aggressive, Swiftkey gave me the word “straight”.
I had to type it out.
When I swiped “give”, it did “had”.
New review:
It needs to disable auto spacing even when that option has been turned off.
Do you have any additional themes other what you offer on your theme store?
Would would be wonderful to have more alternatives that’s uploaded by other people.
Also, please provide an option to raise the text size on the keyboard.
And make the backspacing procedure a fluid one that’s letter by letter.
The pauses word for word annoys me.

Have been using SwiftKey for 5 years, with 3 Galaxy cellphones, and love it!
The resizing is excellent!
I like that I can customise the keyboard with an image & it’s 💯 fantastic!
For me, it’s the CLIPBOARD that is so extremely crucial!
I utilize standard messages, so have a complete library of them in english and Russian; really wonderful!
The only thing I could ask for is a backup of the clipboard and restore onto a new smartphone or to share with others.
Otherwise, I adore this virtual keyboard!
Still a nice app, however theres an extremely nasty haptics fault with Android 13 (the current version) that makes the keyboard practically useless.
2 letters pushed in fast succession ( less than ~100ms apart or such) generate a ~100ms vibration, which is considerably longer (and stronger) than it should be.
You’re just typing and your phone inconsistently buzzes.
It’s incredibly frustrating.
EDIT: looks to be an OS problem, not a Swiftkey issue
One of the only keyboard I fill confident enough to type rapidly on my galaxy fold 3’s little cover screen with nearly no errors.
I really really want the keybpard could recall varied configuration for when the screen is folded and unfolded and not just landscape and portrait.
Except than that, as a long SwiftKey user I adore this keyboard.
I did attempted converting to Samsung keyboard for the fold simply to have the tumb layout while unfolded and standard when folded, but had too many mistakes to stay 😅.
