There has been more and more frustration in using updates. When I don’t have a high speed internet connection (offline flight or low internet) I can’t play frequently downloaded songs and podcasts, which defeats the purpose of downloading the content in the first place. The new way of organizing podcasts is messy and I have to go one by one to find the episodes I downloaded (when they can play, that is). I really like the service, but the use of the app is getting unbearable.
Great app! Great UX! However two suggestions: 1. Whenever we listen to a playlist, the next time we click on it, all the songs that have not been listened to should automatically come to the top. 2. We want a ‘liked’ button next to the ‘liked’ button reason, sometimes we just have to keep in mind that we’ve heard this song, but don’t want to add it to ‘selected’ songs. Thank you!
Update: The latest Spotify update (5/3/2021) does not allow me to order my playlists by adding recently. The songs were playing backwards. I kept in touch with Spotfikers on Twitter, telling them about my problem, and answering their questions. They worked on fixing the problem for about 3 days. Now it has been taken care of. They are wonderful people. Fantastic customer service. God bless them.
Spotify has been surprising until recently. I don’t like the new update, your playlists are hard to find and now it’s really shiny. But the main reason I give it 1 star is because the app no ​​longer lets me listen to any song or artist radio, it says “missing playlist” and “no longer valid” it’s frustrating I almost don’t want to use it. It’s now. Hopefully they will fix this soon, I would love to give them 5 Stars again.
With this update, the application has become practically unusable. Despite being paired with excellent WIFI, Spotify still displays “no internet connection available” and naturally it’s frustrating (to say the least). By opening the app 10 times, it was able to connect to the internet 3 times. And I have to agree that the new library is very inconvenient to use.
I absolutely love Spotify and all its features. I have told a lot of people about it and I am really through the service. However, it is super misleading. I myself often have to uninstall and reinstall the app, force it to stop, clear the cache, contact customer support, that’s a lot. I pay for the premium and I’ve been dealing with this for a while and I know I’m not alone. Spotify, please listen to your users and implement the ideas we need in the Spotify community.
First, the latest update made “Home” awesome. Second, the app doesn’t work. I restart it and hang out with it to make it work at all. I liked it as much as free users can choose their own songs. Everything is rotated and you have to pay a premium if you want to play your songs in your own order. If you like listening through your chosen songs, it all turns out. If you click on a specific song, it only runs in the preview. You can skip them 6 times and you can’t skip the songs except that.
I go with everyone here with a comment on how upset the new update is. Firstly the app (both mobile and desktop .p version) is so glossy that it seems to test my nerves, secondly I think the old way of arranging songs was used by everyone. Finally, what’s going on with the internet connection ??? I uninstalled and reinstalled it thinking it was an issue with my phone but as I saw here, the app has this thing.
Ah yes, let’s combine everything I like into one bin so I can then mix with random filters and hopefully get what I’m looking for. Great work, developers. Let’s take something simple and easy to use for the end user and make a mess for no good reason. Terrific execution. When we’re on it, we also push feed podcasts and talk shows, so it’s hard to find music. 1/10, would not recommend.
