I’ve been using a paid version for a while now but after the last update it asks for full access to storage which means it can read or write storage without my permission. I’m not sure why it’s needed. If it fixes in the next update then fine or else I will move on to another app that is not so unpleasant.

Such a good app I had a hard time after updating my Android 11 device, I couldn’t find the Android folder but a strong fike tester made it possible 🤗😍. Thank you guys for making such a great app
Great file explorer, love app functionality, usability and performance. One suggestion for improvement though – Solid Explorer needs to clear its cache when it comes out. Temporary files saved from encrypted Zip or network may pose a security risk if left in the cache. Update June 23 2021: They can no longer open PDF files. Fix it please. Update July 14 2021: Can open PDFs again. Thanks for the fix.
Used to love this app. It was my walk almost everything. But now I can’t open files and other applications? And it turns out that this was intentional? I am very disappointed. I paid for the premium version (approved, not so much), and now they are removing all functionality! I feel torn. But I have found a few years to make good use of my $ 3. It was an excellent file scanner until recently. Now, I can’t recommend it, and I should get another file checker application. Thank you so much, NeatBytes!
The app works fine, but I rated it 4 stars because sometimes the app will return to its test state. App installing has been fixed for me personally, but not for everyone and this needs to be fixed. The other thing I noticed is that I can no longer access / save / copy / 0 / Android / data on Android 11. I’m not sure if this is due to an app update or an update from Google for my Pixel 4XL, so I successfully downloaded that.
Disruption. You do not respond when switching between apps. You must force stops and reopen. It can reproduce on two different devices (phone and tablet). This has been the case for months and months. Edit: buggier than ever another few years. It can no longer open pdf files. I can’t see the folders assigned to OneDrive, many issues seem like it’s time to try a different app.
I had it bought only by a god who knows how long. Today when I needed immediate access to files I was greeted with the knowledge that the trial period is over and I need to pay. No proposed solutions worked so I had to uninstall all solid applications, specify gaming services data etc. Eventually it worked but all my prepared communications, samba, etc. It’s just a pity that legitimate users can’t use the app they bought.
I think it was me alone, but apparently everyone has been finding fault with opening different file types. “No task found to open this file” When I touch the box with the right arrow of “Open file using …” text Solid Explorer suggests the “Open as type …” box with the following options:

Below is my first excellent answer, but even after I have paid it it says “my trial period is 3 days”. If so – I’m leaving. Compassion. Old ….. I have been using this app for some time. Excellent, very useful for exchanging files between Android device and laptop. I even organize folders and files on my laptop from my phone.
