Sometimes I wake up simply to play this game.
It’s pricey to truly get into, but can ask be done for free if you have the time to walk for kilometers.
With all of the upgrades, it’s become as epic of a goal as the main series and even has quests to accomplish to unlock and capture legendary Pokemon.
You may add friends and engage with them too.
Game is very enjoyable.
I wish it was easy to play.
Sometimes the app is flaky and won’t launch or can’t locate a GPS signal so you can’t play.
Which wouldn’t be too awful but I live in one of the numerous cities where there aren’t any gyms or stations.
We have to drive at minimum one hour to play.
That’s a long distance for a game that could be playable.
If you ask for gyms or stops in your city they say level up.
At this time the game is pay to play and sort of pricey.
Wish support was better.
I deactivated the app and ceased playing for about 2 years since the GPS created so many troubles.
It seems to be fixed now and I am enjoying it much more.
My greatest problem is that the app has to reset whenever I move to another app.
It stinks ping every time I get a text.
The othier thing I hope they would modify is that I want to shorten/ skip animations.
It gets tiresome watching the catch procedure again and over and the same thing with evolutions, opening gyms etc.
That was the finest thing in the world in 2016.
but for a game that has to update every time I open it, it definitely hasn’t improved a lot.
theres been some additions and modifications.
but generally the game is pretty rudimentary.
all teh tiny stuff like transitions between screens that take forever and unresponsive alerts or taps in general, etc.
tons.
the simple things have driven me mad for the past 6 years.
and not a single uodate to make things more efficient and seamless.
feels like a cash grab now.
Overall really fun and have spent many hours on it.
It has space for development but what I feel are reasonably frequent upgrades and adjustments my attention is still retained.
I began my account back in 2016 and in comparison to before it has gotten dramatically more entertaining to play, is quite addicting, and love that it encourages walking.
Tho when taking a stop it’s quite hard to get back into the rhythm and accidently breaking the streak (even if it’s literally simply by 5 minutes) reduces motivation.
Love the game but currently having difficulties with the GO fights.
‘Weak Connection’ and it’s making me lose every battle.
I’ve redownloaded the game about 10x already in one month.
If it doesn’t change I’ll have to quit playing.
Also, it shouldn’t take so long to level up. 🤷🏼♀️
Had to reduce 2 stars with the most recent modifications to paid boxes.
The price of boxes went up roughly 50% and the material inside fell by approximately 20%, and since more valueless (items that are accumulated in such huge amounts via normal play that you often toss them out) being ‘added’ it seems closer to 40% less.
I expected either a rise in pricing or a drop in things, but not both, and not to this level.
This adjustment has caused me not spend my customary $20 a week in coins.
This game is excellent!
It gets you exploring, and is a valuable map.
The problem is that if you’re using it in a car, it still counts the “calories that you burnt”.
Another problem is that it glitches a ton, and I have to wait 7 minutes to get back in.
Other than those 2, a terrific game.
Love it, although there are certain in game navigational stuff I wish they update.
Mainly, with relation to the Pokémon tab vs the pokedex there should be a method to go between them without entirely closing the menu for it, when am going one by one through the pokemon I collected for the day it makes the navigation not as user pleasant.
Especially when going back always jumps me to the top of the screen instead of where I left off.
overall it’s a great interesting and amusing game to play when you’re bored.
I also noted that the game is definitely better in terms of lag in Go Battle League, since I have been noticing no lags so far.
But maybe the game could include a mechanism that stores the account data, so that you wouldn’t have a risk of losing an account.
I’ve lost like 2 accounts, and only gotten one back so far 🙁
For those of you facing the white screen issue…
I have observed that if you touch your phone’s back navigation button, it will send you to the usual catch screen.
I can’t claim that this patch will work for everyone, but it does work for me.

Always appreciate the game play and the updates keep the game intriguing.
My family has invested some money into it, and we continue to find value in it.
I would want to see more attention to the experience on a bigger screen, notably the main screen of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4.
It’s nearly unplayable in fullscreen, which is really sad.
