Perfect for casual use. I use it to edit short videos that I want to show family and friends, it is really good and has lots of integrations. I can’t say about any professional capabilities as I use mostly the simple stuff (cut, trim, add music and so on) but I can guarantee that the free part of the app is super useful
Just installed it, and while having very basic knowledge of video editing was able to create video from multiple clips by splitting, mixing, inserting PIP and changing music’s volume. Very intuitive. Even free version gives enough features to edit video, while showing what’s available in paid version. As shortcoming I already see not being able to gradually channel volume within single clip, not being able to do transition into first clip, and transition out of last one. Need to find out.
UPDATE; Thank you for a top-tier video/photo app! August 10, 2022: it’s been 15 months since purchasing the advanced level of InShot. I’ve tried other video/photo editors. Always disappointing. Both YouCut and InShot has the same issue. We can’t edit videos in landscape mode on Android tablet. I have no idea whether it’s all Android or only on Samsung tablets but I can’t on my Galaxy Tab S8 Plus. So please take a look into this asap as this is a basic thing. Features wise the app is good and I loved the fact that we can even export in 4K for free.

Fantastic App with ease of use! Plenty of options in free version. Have already compiled & published a couple of my jam sessions recordings clips. Please add these features in next versions: 1) sound editing, e.g., adding reverbs, delays, effects on original video sound. 2) Add sound equilizer. 3) tempo/clicks extraction from sound & adding pointers to help users change photos/collage synced with beat. Overall great experience!
this app is amazing for being free and for being advertised as just an instagram clip editor. this app is basically imovie for how much mileage you’re able to get out of it. while not having some features from other editing softwares like adobe or final cut, it has enough to get you started and help you learn basic features like transitions, splitting, layers, effects, filters, etc. it’s enough to make full length youtube videos that can compete with professionally made stuff

I’m particularly impressed with how much you can do for free on this app for people who just want to play around videos and images. It’s great and I totally recommend. The premium version allows for extra features but damn! The basic features are just good enough for basic editors.
Such a great app, you can remove the watermark for free and tho it gets kind of “lagging” during a long video editing “process” and some say that the sound wave doesn’t match the video… don’t worry it’s actually fine. I experienced that too but when you save it the result is not affected it’s just that it gets “lag” during the process but not the result.
This is really great considering it’s free. My one huge complaint is the speed setting slider. It is very difficult to select the exact speed you want, and there is no apply to all option like there is for other things. I even tried the paid version to see if it was an option there but it’s not. This would great improve the app experience if improved.
