Why should it be so bad? Almost every time I go backwards, skip to a completely random place. It can be 20 minutes, 5 minutes anywhere within the program. Then try to figure out where you are and you should look at the commericals many times. It is more than frustrating. Instead of postponing 30 seconds, I will have to spend 5 minutes hunting where I left off.
Hi guys, just add the hulu widget to the widget section of your widget (on your phone). Choose a movie (not extra, but TV probably) or a TV option. I chose film and was able to continue where I left off. I still think the hulu is OK, but they need more clarity about what an extension or where they got it. This is from someone who is not technically inclined! Good luck
It’s not fair. Ads on all the videos I watch (if I don’t pay for the ads). Ads during DVR and do not skip (which is a DVR point). You can also get a cable. The app does not remember where I left off and crashes when I open it 2/3 times. Additionally, ads may occur even after you stop the video. I do not think I will pay for the non-advertising version. Defeat the purpose of the live streaming application.
I have a love / hate relationship with Hulu. Although it has a good selection of content, and has the best options for Live TV, it also has its problems. Hulu No Ads is a scam, with more content on ads, besides. Parental controls are trash, set up a children’s account, if your child is 14 years old he can watch anything without restrictions. DVR recording is delayed and not synced from audio. Birth is bad for sports, and bad sync is bad for shows. They really need to work on their system.
The app was great. Access to the many programs I love to watch. Unfortunately something happened and now I can’t watch anything. Click on the show and everything you do and stay there and download but do not play. I was not used to having this problem and I do not know what caused it. The real distraction is that I travel a lot and like to watch things on my phone but now I can only watch Hulu when I am at home. Adjust your Hulu app.
Hulu was beautiful until recently. There were no ads, but now I have to practice for five minutes, which is not so bad. The reason I rated this as a 1 star is because I use Hulu to watch anime. And now I can’t look at anything. I have also tried non-anime shows and some of them do not work. It’s annoying as hell when they terminate their contracts with Aniplex, Funimation, and Crunchyroll because I never received a warning despite having a strong anime on my watch list.
I can always rely on hulu for 2 things. 1: have a good selection of movies and tv shows; 2: when I watch on mobile the app will not stop where I was and will return you a few episodes, it does this almost every time you close the app or for 10 seconds, but when I watch on the phone. and sleeping will save all the progress I have missed. Its 100% guarantee will do. I wouldn’t stop using hulu over something like this but it is very annoying
NOTE: I understand that ads are necessary to earn money and you can pay more to get out of them. In fact, love my Hulu account. So this is definitely not a bash, but please … If you insist on having 1.5-2 ad ads every 5-8 minutes of viewing, you can at least do it when it is not the SAME ad over and over again !? It has changed a bit, there are only so many sour cream ads and cars you can watch in a row. You can do better.
I have never used a paid live streaming app with so many ads. It’s bad enough that there is an ad at the beginning, every 5 minutes and at the end but the “glitch” that happens all the time and I have to look at the ads I have seen is what I get. I’m not even the one writing the reviews but greed is unbelievable just cheers Hulu
If I could put 0 stars I could set. This app is AWFUL. I have no problems with the hulu app on any of my TVs, but every time I try to watch something on my phone I have to open and close the app many times, log in and out, and in this recent time I even went that far. Uninstall the app, then download it again. I pay for the hulu, and I can’t even use it outside my house. Unnecessary frustration.
