A couple of the bugs need to be fixed. No pictures will load, and no audio recordings will play. I am notified when someone has messaged me, but I do not receive the messages. My settings limit chats to people under a specific age, yet I recently received a message from someone much older. They only need to fix a few flaws. I’ve used HelloSpeak in the past and never had any issues.

It receives 4 stars for the restricted tools and language learning capabilities offered in the free edition, and 1 star for the quantity of push notifications it sends out, which drops the rating to 2 stars. I’ve decided to uninstall it because I’m sick of it. Since they reacted, it is now too late. It’s already been uninstalled. When I used it frequently, it was a terrific service, but I’ve found alternatives that don’t overdo the notifications.

It crashes if it is touched! This program crashes so frequently you’d mistake it for a drunk driver with a blindfold on! The app closes if I press the back button. What happens if I tap on someone to strike up a conversation? Crashes! While taking a test, you guessed it!crashes and nosedives AND you have to pay to talk to/see nearby people? No, I’m OK!

Because of this fantastic software, I have made a ton of friends both locally and overseas. There is no doubt that the paid subscription is worthwhile. However, I believe that few people are receiving any incentives to use it. For moments and talks, I would like to show accomplishments, streaks, etc. but in a style that is simple to follow. Additionally, it appears that there is no commercial motivation to use live streaming on this to educate people. Events or meet-ups where folks can invite other foreign-locals for an outing could be another possibility.

Although I really enjoy the app, there are a number of drawbacks that make it less enjoyable. There is currently no method to disable official account notifications. (Or it’s difficult to locate.) Not having the option is really aggravating because they usually include events or promote other services in which I have no interest. Even if you are a VIP customer, they advertise their own services. I get why it’s there, but since I’m paying to have the advertising removed, I should be allowed to opt out.
