Camera sensor body/module appears to rotate on its own plane quite slowly when Pixel 4A is kept at the table or something similar to it. It is evident when you take a close look at the viewfinder. It could be a feature that is designed to enhance quality, or is an attempt to decrease quality through some other means or is a bug or maybe my phone is defective or something! It’s not the case with other third party camera apps, however!

After this Android 12 update my camera(Pixel 3a) is now taking pictures in black, and only on the cameras are black, front and back. I can clearly see all buttons, the flash works perfectly, but my screen appears black. It can take the picture but the picture is dark. It’s as if I’m looking to capture a photo in a room that is completely dark. Google support couldn’t assist. They suggest I go to a local repair shop. Camera worked fine prior to the update. I’ve tried every possible troubleshooting. Absolutely embarrassing Google considering the price of phones.

As with many other users, a recent Android update totally destroyed this application as well as my capability to utilize my camera all in one step. I’ve tried everything from an uninstall and sign to sign up to Android 12 beta. This continues to happen for so long and Google hasn’t done anything important to rectify the issue is inexcusable. I hope this review, as well as others keep others from making the similar error. If you’re thinking of buying an Pixel phone, seriously think twice before you make a decision.

Google does not work! It’s a simple scam! The phones you sell are sold on the top camera and speedy updates, however in reality these updates can ruin your phone. It is a deliberate strategy to ensure that people can buy more modern phones, but it’s a poor method. I was satisfied with Google however, not until your last update , which rendered my phone inoperable. When I launch the camera app right now immediately, it goes off. It’s very frustrating. I’ll never purchase another Google phone again. I’m planning to go with either Apple or one+.

The latest update to my camera doesn’t work. The screen is blank for all choices. It worked perfectly to the point that my phone was updated to 12. It’s ridiculous for a brand-new phone that is only that is only a couple of months older.

It’s impossible to rate an application that doesn’t function on the phone was made for. In this case , it’s a Pixel 3. I was expecting Android 12 to resolve the issue, but I now have to think on my new iPhone. Shame on you Google.

Are you using a Pixel 4XL? It’s amazing how you do not follow up, even with trends that are popular such like “Pixel Camera Curse”. My camera isn’t working so I need to capture every photo using my selfie camera, without having to look at the display (old school) is the most powerful camera phone without a camera. I’m not sure what’s more fun to laugh or cry. Remember that the thing that makes a brand successful is it’s not only the product, but the post-sales service, only one product isn’t enough. I will never purchase another Google product in the future.

Camera is excellent and high quality but editing inside the camera app, there are no editing options and inside the app commands to better and battered photos. Add certain features that make the camera app interface very user-friendly

I would like to give zero stars. The second time that my rear camera has failed to work. The first time it happened, it was when I was away on vacation and, after an initial reset, it appeared to be working. After about one month (again in the course of a vacation) after having used my camera for around 3 minutes, it’s once again failed. It is extremely frustrating to have to reset your phone’s factory settings when you are on vacation. Fix your phone, Google.

The camera is excellent as long as it’s working. I often have to reboot my phone for the camera to function. Particularly the forward facing. The forward facing camera isn’t working completely. Lame. I’m not sure if i’ll continue to use the Pixel and Google products. I’ve been a user of pixel since day one. Recently I’ve been receiving no issues with them.

The camera started to malfunction. rear camera, despite using it towards the close of September. I can’t use it, nor can I use my flashlight since it believes that the camera is not in use. I went through the hassle of resetting my phone’s factory settings and now having a new issue of getting service back onto the phone (thanks Sprint) just for the camera to continue to not function. This is on a Pixel 4 XL.

It does take photos, however they boast about how good the camera is , but it’s only okay. Astrological mode produces blurry images. I’ve tried hundreds of times under different situations, using an upright tripod or laid flat, and they’re all blurry. It’s more than my iPad, but not as great as my other recent high-end cellphones. It’s not a great phone.
