Amazing program! It is amazing! You can either pay with money for an app or with your time watching ads. It’s very simple. It is safe for your heart. You can only make 5 mistakes. The app has been working for me for more than a month. I use it between 10 and 30 minutes per day. I have never run out of hearts. Just focus on the task at hand and avoid making too many mistakes. The hearts fill up again after a while, I think it was 4 hours. This app is amazing!

At first, I was skeptical about whether “free” really meant free. If a few lessons are free, then you have to pay. Duolingo is truly, truly free. It’s easy to use, has many language options, and there are no ads. Although they might not be about every lesson, the ads aren’t too long and usually only concern Duolingo, which I find acceptable. The cute little owl is charming. I am learning Japanese and have done so on my own for many years. Duo has helped me learn more in three months than I did in 20 years of self-study.

If you have a daily session, it will also include a review of the previous days. Every day is a building block from the previous day. If you miss a day, it takes you one day back to learn so you don’t forget.

Amazing!! I love Duolingo so much! It’s the only app that is free, simple, fun, and actually helps you learn a new language. This app is highly recommended if you are looking to learn a language. There are no annoying ads, except for one that appears after you have completed a few lessons. However, this can be easily excused as the app is free. Duolingo is a better way to learn a language than an app that’s cluttered with ads and non-functional.

I love the app. It allows me to learn a language slowly and passively. You should enroll for lessons with a teacher if you are looking to make rapid progress. The app can also be used as a supplement. I tried the plus trial after a year of using it free. It’s not necessary, but it is a good price for what I’ve received. I also like the additional features. A “DAILY-GOAL STREAK” counter is what I’ve been missing since the beginning. It provides additional motivation.

My experience with Duolingo was one of total lack of customer service. To save my streak, I spent real money. They gladly stole my money, but didn’t give me what they promised. It was impossible to get help. I could not find any help via the app or on any other website. This company is just out to take your money! This app is a scam. Horrible awful non existent service. This is the worst. Don’t download! Horrible

I use this to learn Mandarin Chinese as well as Italian. It’s important to learn the characters, not just pinyin. Speaking tests to test your pronunciation are my favorite part. My biggest complaint is the fact that the pronounciation test cuts you off if your pronunciation is not good enough. It’s frustrating and rude. Maybe you could create a “press-and-hold” button
