It’s fun, it works and it doesn’t work. It is the only real free language learning app. Some programs exclude you from most courses and not Duolingo. The features are great. You do not have to use a dictionary to navigate over a word and then its meaning will appear. No need to memorize. I did three years in French in High School and I remember hating “vocab”. Here, using words more often, reading is almost automatic. The stories are interesting and show insight.
I would give five full stars, but their cost structure is capital. 70 dollars earlier this year ?? $ 13 in one month ??? Jesus, I’ll just stick to the ads. The only thing I want to throw away, I hate the extra, but I don’t pay $ 13 a month so the ads are no longer there. Jeez, that’s more than Amazon prime or YouTube Red or almost identical to Netflix, and all of those services offer a much higher value than a language learning service. We are very disappointed with the program they have used.
This app is fun! I could learn French so easily! There are some things they can change anyway. First of all, lives, It’s annoying when you lose your heart because you have to wait 4 hours or minutes (I forgot) before you start again! Secondly, you need internet, I know that is not a bad thing but this should be an offline platform so if your on board for example you can do it because, there is no internet. Lastly, it has been said that if a friend joins then I will cover the church and I have not yet done so.
Although I love learning the language and paying for the Plus year I had a problem trying to refresh. An error occurs every time I try to find Plus again – it can’t connect to the Google Store. I have tried all the solutions in the forums – as, sadly, Duolingo’s technical support will never respond …….. almost like they don’t want my money? Extremely annoying by sitting on unwanted advertising.
Honestly to me I have been to Mexico a lot so this app helps to fill in the blanks, but it is very basic and takes a long time to learn new words, which can be good for others. But the only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because it’s annoying how you can get used to your mistakes after you’ve cleaned up the primium. Above all it is very easy to learn a new language if you do not have a timeline.
This is an easy and fun way to learn a language! I can live honestly in it for many hours learning Japanese (and I have it) duolingo has great finishing challenges and XP school standards to compete with other users. In my 3 years of using the duo there have been only a few mistakes like typos. I am sure that duolingo loved all the languages ​​that have ever existed (maybe not all but most) all in all a very high quality app and I recommend those who want an easy way to learn
I wish this app was there when I was younger, it helps a lot. I want a combined payment, but it only offers the option of an annual fee. I do not understand why this will not be a monthly subscription, because I do not know that I will always use it for a year. I have seen that there is a 1 month option that doubles the months of the year which makes no sense to me.
I love this app. It is not as repetitive as the others. The words and phrases are still repeated but it always changes the way you read. Sometimes they may require you to say a sentence, then type it, or make a word match. I like that there are different functions like news mode or lighting cycles. I like that if you don’t find anything there are help buttons that explain the rules of the program or you can chat with other users and see what they have to say. All in all a great learning tool
