This recording app works great. It automatically records incoming and outgoing calls and the recordings are very clear. It’s easy to delete any recordings you don’t need to keep. If you want to keep the recordings (as a backup in case you lose your phone), you can send the recordings to yourself by email. My phone is Note 20Ultra. It saved me $2500 when the dealer tried to lie to me about my car repair bill a few months later. I recently had to install the Helper app but the customer service was fantastic!
When it works, it’s good. The user interface is clean and unobtrusive. It’s pretty fiddly to configure, but that’s mostly because it has to get around Google-created obstacles. Sometimes there are mysterious recording failures. An alert or something to tell the user during the call that they can’t hear the other end would help solve this.
I have been using this app for years. I like the translucent button that pops up during a call…allows you to stop and start recording and you can move the button to a spot on the screen that isn’t blocking something below it. The only recent issue is that a second “helper” app is required on Android 9 and up. Installing the helper app is quite a process; it also requires temporarily disabling some security settings. I trust the developers enough to install it. It works fine on Android 13.
I made a test call just to see how it works and oh my god I love that it doesn’t record the “call” but also rings to show the very beginning and end of the conversation. I used speakerphone to hear my voice quality and I could hear everything. If you find you need a call recorder to keep businesses honest and record those conversations. If you want him to remember important business conversations. That would be an application. Just perfect.
A good replacement for Boldbeast when it stopped working after the upgrade. It will also be archived in the cloud. I can get by on ten bucks a year. I went back to check the recent call and found the file correctly identified and showing the length of the call, but there was no audio. The best app. Both sides can be heard. I have tried many apps and this is by far the best. I had a problem (I couldn’t hear the recording), I contacted technical support, they got back to me right away and solved the problem by suggesting a change to the setting parameter. I would highly recommend this app to everyone.
Many complain about the lack of features, but that has a lot to do with permissions and how many things are locked down if your device isn’t rooted. My only gripe is that no matter what settings I choose, it won’t record the other side of calls if an external Bluetooth device is used. To allow the system microphone to pick up audio, you need to select the phone’s speaker in the dialer. I believe this is more of a hardware issue than anything else.

Many of them are caused by incorrect settings or incorrect use of software. Contact support if you need to. This was the only app that allowed me to record calls on my Samsung s10e in Europe while all other Android apps and methods fail. Calls are a little distorted with the “call louder” option, but when I turn it off, calls are clearer. I can amplify them on the computer if I have to. Edit: still working perfectly. can’t be without this app.
Looks like they finally figured it out for the OnePlus Nord and got it working with a helper APK installed. Great job and don’t forget to install this APK file to make sure it will work on your phone or not. Update: still working after full reboot and phone updates. Update: It turns out that when setting up a daily directory for a google drive, the app creates a directory even though nothing is recorded, resulting in many empty directories.
