I used McAfee CenturyLink’s McAfee for the past 6-8 months, thinking it might work. However, I found the free cobranded ISP app to be incredibly underwhelming. I decided to go back to Avast Free Android. However, automatic scans were now disabled and there was nagware to upgrade. The problem is that the scan configuration options can be enabled on another Android phone with the same Avast version. This is extremely disturbing. While I am willing to pay for security products, is this really necessary? Double standards. What is WTsh?

As always, excellent. For the past two decades, I have used avast as well as avg. They’re both excellent, and they’re all the same company. It won’t make any difference. It was something I appreciated that I wasn’t forced to watch adds. Your new CEO apparently doesn’t think he’s being intrusive, and has the right to make me waste my time. You can give me by allowing me to participate and collecting data. It was appreciated and sufficient.

It is free to use this anti-virus software. It also offers more features if you purchase the pro version. However, this is not necessary. Although there are some negative aspects, I don’t think it is necessary. This app works well for me. Thank you for the app that offers so many opportunities.

My phone keeps getting flooded with ads. I’ve had more than 10 in 5 minutes. It is extremely frustrating to use my phone since it was infected. I downloaded this app in hopes that it would help, but it has not. My phone is still unusable despite the fact that I get exactly the same number of ads. This app is not for you.

This app is amazing! To try it, I downloaded the free version. Although it seems to work, I’ll need to test other apps to see if they are comparable. The pushy upgrades are what I don’t like. They have to earn their dough, but they are pushy.

You can disable most of their pointless notifications. This is good security. However, they were caught selling user data in the previous Update. After the last update, my subscription stopped working and after a month, I have not received any communication from Avast.

Avast is still in beta so I don’t know if it will work yet. I paid by credit card via play store. The app didn’t work and it gave me no number for activation so I have not been able to use it. Was my money wasted?

App worked fine until I upgraded to a new phone. Then, I discovered that scheduled scans were behind a paywall. This is a brilliant way to make my phone more vulnerable. I have to remember to scan every day or uninstall it and get another antivirus. Great job avast!

This app has been a pleasure to use.

It is truly one of the most powerful and effective security and protection applications. It came with 10 licenses. I shared it with my colleagues and other users. Since then, there have been no complaints or issues regarding security, privacy or hacking attacks. We appreciate your support and look forward to the next update.

Hi guys, I think you are doing a great job. However, the app keeps saying web shield is disabled when shield is enabled and it’s always on. It keeps saying web shield is disabled. Please fix it. I would give it 5 stars.
