Or you have to pay A LOT.
Don’t be fulled by battle path pricing $5.
Season lasts only 10 days.
Also more expensive fight path costs $15 (unbelievable $45 per month).
And you will not give exponential boost with this combat path.
Boost will be linear again.
+10 percent droprate.
Conclusion: don’t even start investing in this game.
Neither money, nor time.
You will stuck nonetheless.
The battlepass no longer provides the extra chests after completing unless you have purchased the advanced Battlepass.
The last straw in an ever escalating endeavor to take money from their audience.
I was happy enough paying the about £7 a month for the Battlepass but even with that paid for, the game growth is just nowhere near where it needs to be.
Coupled with the incessant sales of ‘You must need this stuff’ it’s just too much.
Should not take this long to level gear up.
A pretty excellent game in general.
Although, to be fair, you know it’s a good game if every other “game developer” are attempting to rip it off to obtain its popularity.
I would add that, the Hero Duels is sort darn terrible.
It’s incredibly laggy while controlling and doesn’t shoot half of the time.
A lot of times, I don’t even get a match up.
I personally think the way to address this is to have some form of AI that uses the account-you’re-fighting-stats, against’s like some other games do.
Overall, fun game.
This game is the definition of pay to win.
Each update adds a new paywall and raises the difficulty up to try to justify it.
They need to tone it down.
Edit after reply: it’s quite simple.
Lower health for creatures in higher levels.
Also, quit charging $20 for a single character.
You would make more by pricing less as more customers would be tempted.
Insane difficulty pushes people off from a game rather than keeping them engaged.
And they just released an upgrade that charges $17 a month to play.

Inconsistent hit boxes, overpowering foes, limited gear drops, very little enjoyment beyond the first week or two.
I resigned at the Expedition level where it’s several rock foes flinging missiles all around the room that take 20 percent of my health with each hit, plus producing additional rock monsters while following you around the space, not to mention always getting the worst skill selections.
Way too irritating and poorly conceived.
