Easy, peezy, lemon squeezy!
Made a couple fast sleep teaching films and dancing videos for practice.
Simple editing tools with the free app.
Does a lot more with a premium edition so I’ll have to update this after I have acquired the entire software.
Thanks for the free app for the time being though. 😁
Not sure whether I have the option to cut/edit audio that I add, with the premium version, since it was not available with the free version.
Or I wasn’t searching hard enough. 😉
It’s free and has numerous features.
as far as intuitive flow
I’d give it a 6 out of 10 .
I found one thing irritating and that was that putting down the audio first is not an option.
If you have five minutes of video you may have five minutes music
if you have 0 minutes of video you may have zero music.
my creative technique is to set the music down and fit video to it.
but all in all a really functioning software and I’m delighted with it for the most part
Amazing program that supports 4k resolution!
The only problem is it’s hard to crop the video at a certain point since the sliders aren’t responsive enough.
For example I’d want a clip to start at 1.08 and even with a stylus I can’t get the slider to operate properly.
It’ll either halt at 1.06 or 1.10.
Took a litte time to get it correct else the footage doesn’t match the sounds.
I need this to work better to produce my dancing videos.
I’m using a Huawei P20 btw.
The free version is really nifty at cropping the video from the beginning and/or from the conclusion.
You start with rapid motion but when you release and resume the cropping you may go frame-by-frame.
I didn’t find a mechanism to mix videos but maybe it’s there.
Really, really missed having a timeline in crop mode.
I know what I want or don’t want via run-time markers, but in edit mode there is no timeline.
So you have to focus and seek for a picture, generally a movement, to detect a crop point.
Often trial and error for me.
Saved videos also have poorer resolution than original.
No doubt the premium membership version will have many more capabilities, however at C$22.99/yr it looks pricey.
I could be lured by a one-time payment but to pay annually has me looking at the competitors.
The free version is minimal, but ive been very impressed with it thus far.
Not straightforward to figure out, appears to routinely bring out great films.
My one criticism would be the loss in video quality from the original clips, but its not too awful, and again, im using the free version, the premium version reportedly permits higher quality video.
Overall a nice product.
I even purchased power director, which I am currently learning.
1). It is difficult in action director to trim films at the proper area, possibly owing to the small screen on mobile devices compared fiber size.
2).
It would be wonderful to be able to apply the same transition to all cuts at the same time.
3). Another layer enabling more than one text input at a time would be wonderful.
4). Even though you could have the complete bought edition for a year, your downloads suddenly disappear.
This software is quite excellent.
I prepared a film using this app for me and my bf’s anniversary video.
I think there are still some areas that this software can improve and build on, like for example being able to pick if you would like your video done in a landscape style or portrait mode, because I faced a lot of troubles surrounding this.
And maybe give an option for background blur for videos much like in other video editing tools.
But thus far is incredibly straightforward to use, and pleasant!

I previously awarded this app 5 stars while I was still using the free edition.
I subsequently converted to subscription and started using this as my dedicated video editing application on my cellphone.
That’s when I found that I couldn’t modify the audio per clip.
The audio modification impacts the whole video.
Not sure whether it’s just me or it is actually not included in the apps’s features.
Help pls?
Fantastic app.
I never believed it’d be this easy to make such polished, professional looking films with only a few simple clicks till seeing this program.
The guidelines are not convuluded, it is easy enough for novices to get started.
I got premium and it was definitely worth it since they give a ton of filters, stickers, and transitions for premium customers.
Best part, the 4k movies I’m filming on my Note 9 are able to stay in that resolution, no compromising quality like other programs.

After some initial learning and browsing the software (like everything) I found this quite powerful and straightforward to use for any fundamental editing work.
From titles, transitions, cuts, slow downs and speed ups, it’s all the things you need.
Take various videos and blend them together into one final product without hassle.
Great app.
Whenever I produce a video, I utilize this.
If I could award 10 stars for this App, I would.
It’s an incredible.
I bought for the full version and couldn’t be happier.
If you are seeking for a terrific, easy to use video producing software with amazing editing options, then this is the App for you.

Just one issue I have had.
It’s the video reversing tool.
It worked once for me, and have tried a lot more times after that, but it constantly freezes at 99%.

Devices that don’t support 60 fps may nevertheless make 60 fps videos @ your devices highest resolution with this software!
And quite rapidly as well.
But I still dont like the crop function.
It may take some tips from Kinemaster on that one.
Also didn’t enjoy the slow motion feature.
It might need some additional intervals to chose from because the first speed choice is half speed and that’s too sluggish.
Need to add a 75% option or better on slo-mo.
Still a pretty nice app.
